S'lionName Pronounced: SLEE-ohn Appearance: S'lion stands proudly at five feet and nine inches, quite tall for his fifteen Turns. His weight of one hundred and sixty-five pounds is primarily muscle with a little fat left over from his childhood. His skin is a creamy pale throughout with little variation or scars to mar it. Puberty set in at ten Turns and is still sorting out what it wants the young boy to look like- his face is still childlike but with a larger nose and stockier chin. He has long hair the color of burnished gold that he keeps in a loose ponytail and pulled over his left shoulder. Often S'lion will tug on or hold the hair as a sign of nervousness. Long bangs trail down the right side of his face with a tuft of hair over his ears. S'lion has narrow almond-shaped eyes colored a bright pale green. Often it is the bright color of his eyes that draws the most attention. Personality: S'lion is the type to obey his superiors without question. When growing up, this got him into trouble more than once when the older boys would tell him to do things that S'lion didn’t know were wrong but they did. His embarrassment over his parents’ identity compelled him to be an overachiever and drive to be the best at everything to make up for it. He is somewhat of a perfectionist and must have things just so unless someone with more authority than he dictates otherwise. He will never counter his superiors’ orders and will obey them to the direct letter every time. History: S'lion was born as Sonnellion on 8.9.2.27 to two greenriders in Fort Weyr. Like most weyrbred children, he was fostered around and never spent much time with his biological parents. When he *was* with them, he never called them “mother” or “father” but their own names. He learned the pecking order early on and his young mind came to believe that being the son of a male greenrider and a female rider period was the pinnacle of embarrassment and a practical invitation for others to haze and harass him. So S'lion hid his identity from his crechemates and lied to the other children, saying that his mother was a journeyman healer who left the Weyr soon after his birth and that his father was a bronzerider. The adults knew different and often told S'lion that there was no shame to being the son of greenriders but the lad had his mind set in a certain way and wouldn’t budge. When news reached him that his parents had both died in Threadfall, S'lion kept his grief inside until he was alone where he cried quietly. Information about S'lion's pets Pet Name: Doshe Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: As he emerged from his odd little egg, Sonnellion noticed that Doshe is long, very long and lean. He somehow does not seem to be a very attractive flit despite the fact he is perfectly proportioned, not a claw or wing tip out of place. His shading is true blue with no other markings or shades or unique characteristics on his hide. Personality: Doshe is an odd flit to say the least. he is extremely intelligent for a blue flit if socially inept. around other firelizards, whers and dragons he just doesn’t seem to understand them or get along with them all that well. he is oddly quite logical for a flit. Despite Doshe’s intellect, he sometimes displays a lack of common sense. He has a superiority complex, but also possesses childlike qualities, of which he seems unaware, such as extreme stubbornness. He has an oddly accurate memory for a blue firelizard, giving him the ability to remember things most others of his color wouldn’t. He seems to search for knowledge and tries to know everything he can. He tends to lack a bit of empathy something his pet might find frustrating as well as the fact that he is also very uncomfortable with being touched. The only time he submits is when he needs to be cleaned. Doshe will likely never chase a green, and he can’t keep a secret or stand it when he hears arguing. Information about S'lion's dragon Dragon Name: Tototh Colour: Blue Age: 0 Wing (Weyrling Group): Midsummer Dreamers (May 2020) Appearance: Tototh at hatching is a small, scrawny creature and will be among the smallest hatchlings of this clutch, even relative to some of his sister greens. Not to worry, he will fill out as he grows. Though he will never be one of the larger blues, neither is he destined to stay the smallest. His lean, lanky form, covered in hide of beautiful shade of pale blue, will make him incredibly acrobatic in the air, a match for any other in the arena of aerial displays. Personality: On first acquaintance, Tototh is a strong minded independent little blue, and never one to do anything purely on someone else's say so. But just beneath that stubborn exterior lies great potential for loyalty. If you are so lucky as to win it, then there will be nothing that he would not do for you. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Tototh has an odd weakness for human food. S’lion might find it expedient to bribe him for good behavior, at least starting out.
