Character type: Dragonrider
Appearance: At 5'8", with blonde hair that falls to her shoulders, as well as dark blue eyes, Manon is quite pretty. She has a straight-bridged nose, lips that are, not exactly full, but nearing such a description, and a elegant air to her. Her face is a little too flat, and a bit too square to make her a ravishing beauty, but she's pretty enough nonetheless. Her figure is shapely enough to suit her, and most men, though she's not voluptuous or anything. A sharp sort of intelligence lingers in the depths of her eyes, giving a shrewed air to an otherwise innocent looking face.
Personality: Unfortunately, her personality does not match her looks. She is, to put it bluntly, a bitch. She has a real temper, with a short fuse and a long memory; she's selfish, and cares only about her own wants and needs. The type of person who has the "if I can't have it, no one can" mentallity of stories. Not only that, but she's violent, prone to physical attacks, because her anger is like a beserker anger. When she's angry, rank doesn't matter, and the target of her anger doesn't matter. She's liable to attack whoever it is that angered her, and whoever is hanging around, as well. Her vengeful streak is almost as wide as her cruel streak, and she cares not for the sufferings of others as long a she is content. In fact, when bored, she amuses herself by watching those more unfortunate, because their suffering is entertainment. And she doesn't try to hide her nature; everyone knows she's cruel and bitchy, and she's damn proud of it. People who don't like her are whimps who don't deserve her attention, and people who aren't like her are delusional idiots. She's only pleasant to those she respects, and the only ones she respects are those that are like her.
History: Born the oldest of three, to a trader (Jefron) and his wife (Manette), in Nabol Hold. Manon has two siblings, Monatte (23) and Jefet (20). Jefron had only wanted one child, a son, to carry on the business, and was quite displeased when his first child turned out to be a daughter. The next daughter did not improve his mood at all, and he ruled his household with a heavy hand. However, when Jefet was born, Jefron's disposition towards his daughters improved, though his focus fell on his son only. His daughters, he left to the care of Manette, who was far kinder than her husband.
Information about Manon's dragon
Dragon Name: Maliseth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Thunder Flame
Appearance: A large green, and darn proud of it! Her hide isn't one solid shade of green - she has streaks of every kind of green on her. It looks as if someone painted her with a brush dipped in as many shades of green there are. There are pine green tones, forest green tones, pastel green shades, all streaked together. Perfectly proportioned, Maliseth's hide gleams the different shades under the sun, in a kaleidescope of green.
Personality: The perfect match to her rider, Maliseth should be handled with just as much delicacy as Manon. She snaps at other dragons who come too near, at people who presume to touch her. During flights, she becomes even more mean, insulting the egos of those that chase her, scorning them until they seethe to prove to her otherwise. Those that become truly hurt by her words, she doesn't want, anyway, and doesn't care if they drop out and never chase her again.
Weyr of Origin: High Reaches
Abilites and weaknesses: Er...does being scary count? She can intimidate anyone nice.
