Appearance: L'nel is about 5’10”— when he actually stands up straight. He slouches almost all the time. He has lanky black hair that goes down to his shoulders and sticks out around his head. He has sunken-in eyes that are so dark blue that they are almost black. These eyes have very dark circles underneath because he never, ever sleeps. He is moderately pale with hollow cheeks. He wears black and white shirts and pants- always both colors and the garment is always a solid color. Despite his unhealthy appearance, L’nel is more than capable of keeping up with his work with energy to spare for training his body afterwards. Not only is he extremely mentally fit, but he is lithe, strong, and graceful. Also, L’nel has a small Threadscore on his right arm from right before he left Ista.

Personality: L’nel seems like he would be a loner, but really he enjoys people. However, he is a tactical genius. After Threadfalls, he studies reports and devises strategies that, he believes, are better than the ones used. He has only one other friend, Near, and he concurs with L’nel’s ideas. L’nel’s voice is naturally quiet, but is made even more so because he frequently chews on his thumb. Despite this, his attitude, and his posture, L’nel always clearly and efficiently conveys his thoughts.

History: Named Lunannuel, L’nel was born in Ista Weyr on 8.3.6.30, sired from a dragonflight. He never interacted much with anyone except Near, another youth whom he met and became exceedingly close friends with. Lunannuel stayed by himself when he could, which was surprisingly often, given the amount of work that needed to be done.
After a Threadfall, the two went out of the Weyr first to help with damage control. They had only gone a few steps when a freak strand of Thread fell on Near's left shoulder, promptly devouring his heart and Lunannuel's only friend. Lunannuel himself caught a small strand of Thread on his right arm, but thankfully the healers caught that before he, too, could perish. He was sent to Arolos to recover and has decided to stay there. Or, rather, it was decided for him when he was Searched by a green one day. He wasn't even technically near a dragon- Lunannuel was sitting in the dining hall when a greenrider approached him and told him that his dragon had just Searched him. Now Lunannuel stands as a Candidate for a baby dragon.

Lunannuel was walking by the lake when he accidentally tripped over the legs of D'reat, rider of green Dianth. His apologies soon turned into pleading as the rider hauled the young candidate back to his weyr and raped him. Towards the end of the frightening experience, Lunannuel realized that he was enjoying it after all. The rape turned into normal sex, spawning a relationship between the Candidate and the rider.

Lunannuel recently received a kitten from fellow candidate Howell. He named her Blinker despite the fact that she constantly stares at everyone.

After the Weyrling Fight and mate restrictions that ensued, D'reat and Lunannuel had a falling out from a comment the Candidate had said. Lunannuel was frustrated when D'reat left him but not heartbroken. He found happiness in his feline as well as a flit he acquired when he was given an egg.

Shortly before the SunWarriors hatched, Lunannuel aided his friend Zyreai by being her first male experience. He gathered that to her, this was just preparation for Impression, but Lunannuel gathered something more from it.

Lunannuel was volunteered to be part of a chosen group to retrieve Foreth’s stolen egg. He was originally sent to Benden before it was discovered that the gold egg there wasn’t the one they sought. He went with the others to High Reaches where they found the real egg. In the ensuing drama that followed, Lunannuel almost lost his life a few times but made it back to the Weyr safely. He and the others entered the Hatching Cavern to be greeted by a clutch of hatched dragonets waiting for them. A certain blue tramped up to Lunannuel with an egg shard in his mouth. Hemiseth proclaimed Lunannuel his, so Lunannuel became L’nel.

Pet Name: Blinker

Pet Type: Feline

Appearance: Blinker is a very furry little kitten. She has a white undercoat with orange stripes. Her eyes are green and very wide in her head. Her tail is almost always flicking while she stares at some strange object or another.

Personality: No, she isn't an alien and acts much like a regular kitten should. Except for those occassional moments when her eyes get very large and she tilts her head just so... and stares at you. It doesn't take long to grow uncomfortable under that stare because it's not unlike being analyzed but when it is directed at something else it is amusing. She
might bat one paw at the... um, 'alien' object and you could almost here her think 'Take me to your leader.'

Second Pet Name: Stitch

Pet Type: Blue Firelizard

Appearance: Stitch is a little bit chubby, but his wings are long and narrow, looking almost as if they belong to someone else. When he does fly, he's surprisingly
fast and agile. His hide is a solid medium blue, but his wings and the tip of his tail are a paler color, which only reinforces the impression that he was put together from spare parts.

Personality: Blue flits may have a reputation for laziness, but Stitch takes it one step further. There's nothing wrong with his wings, but he'd rather climb than fly - walls, furniture, his pet; if there's any way to scale it, he'll find it. Stitch will take to the air to get from one place to another, but only if if he can't get a ride on someone's shoulder. All of this may have something to do with his build.

Dragon Name: Hemiseth

Colour: Blue

Age: 9

Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury

Appearance: Short tailed and extremely stocky, Hemiseth is a strong little blue who has the aerial grace of a tossed brick. His power makes up for his lack of grace though, he has the unusual strength and stamina for a blue to ride out an entire fall without a break. Of course that doesn't mean he won't pay for it more the next day than a brown or bronze would. You can't really call him an attractive dragonet, even his hide is an odd sort of hazy murky blue, reminiscent of sky on a particularly hot and humid day but his abilities make up for his appearance.

Personality: He is a blustery quick tempered dragonet, prone to flying into rages over the littlest things and his rider will have his work cut out for him in finding ways to sooth the hot headed blue. Thankfully his fiery outbursts tend to be short lived, once he's blown off his steam he'll be back to his normal, if somewhat crotchety self.

His loyalty runs as fierce as his temper, and once a dragon has won his respect they've won a friend for life. On the flipside of this he'll have trouble forgiving dragons that get on his bad side, especially his brother Misnoth who he disliked from the moment he cracked his shell. They'll have an enduring feud and their lifemates and the AWLMS will have to work hard to get them to work together, or at least stop bickering long enough to get through lessons.

Hemiseth loves heat, the hotter the better and it will take a lot of badgering to drag him off of a sunny rock when the sun is at its hottest. Early mornings and cold water will see him grouchier than usual and he'll resist swimming or bathing if he feels that the water isn't quite warm enough for his liking. He'll dislike going Between as the chill makes his hide 'itch' and he'll likely collect a number of threadscores due to near misses.

Along with his love of heat comes a natural talent for flaming. He will have no trouble with it whatsoever and his flame will be huge for his size, he'll go through an unnecessarily large amount of firestone but he'll be a definite asset to any wing!

Abilites and weaknesses: Hemiseth has astounding stamina for a blue if no grace whatsoever. His temper tends to get the better of him but he's loyal to his friends.
