A'driName Pronounced: Ay-dree Appearance: A blond-haired, blue-eyed young man, Padrim still doesn't quite seem to possess the attributes that would make him attractive. He is quite pale, even in the Arolos weather, suggesting that he spends less time in the sun than his peers, probably due to a distinct preference for books and studies than for outdoor living. He is a quiet, solemn young man. He keeps neat by the standards of his parents, staying clean-shaven and his hair lying flat. He is somewhat tall, but has a heavy, firm build. His facial features are rather off - his nose is small, his mouth and jaw wide, and his gaze intense. Although he remains tidy, he makes no effort to dress in anything other than the traditional Candidate uniforms. A comb through his hair, clean hands and face, and he feels little more need be done to face the day. He is quiet and tends toward shyness; in larger crowds of people he can be more outgoing, but one on one, he may find himself tongue-tied and reticent. Personality: Nervous and quiet and shy, Padrim scarcely ever speaks, except when needed. In fact, he said his first word - the beginning of his first complex sentence - at age three. He spends much of his time brooding on matters that would make other people's eyes bug out , and this has opened him up to much taunting and teasing by those of his own age. Mostly, he ignores this, though he will come to his own defense with biting sarcasm or a clever rejoinder that others might not be wordwise enough to understand if pushed too far. History: Padrim was born at Arolos Hold, the second of two children. His older brother, Bralidan, is two Turns older. He was a quiet and calm babe with a habit of mumbling his own version of everything his parents said. He spoke for the first time at age three, which many thought was the sign of a late bloomer; that was hardly the case, however. From the moment he began speaking, he spoke clearly, and sometimes used words even his parents didn't know. It was not his wont to speak often, though, and so when he did speak, his family knew that he felt he had something important to say. Rather than follow his father into the HarperCraft, where he would have been required to be a good performer and conversationalist, he opted for the healercraft, where his taciturn manner and arduous attention to detail served him well. In his free hours, he sat and pondered questions of philosophy, psychology and medicine, sometimes while he watched his peers play, and eventually move into more adult pursuits. Information about A'dri's pets Pet Name: Splash Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: Splash is pale blue, with a sprinkle of darker coloring on the tips of his wings. He is a slight creature, and quick, gifted at aerial acrobatics. Personality: Splash shares the calm and quiet personality of his owner. He follows Padrim everywhere - even to the point of it being annoying. He loves to explore, so long as he is close to Padrim, and he also loves driving Spill crazy. Second Pet Name: Spill Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: Spill is an average blue color, with a slightly darker face. Unlike Splash, Spill is a heavy little critter and not too quick a flyer. Personality: Spill is hyper and over-friendly. He rarely ever settles down, except at his owner's command. Even then it's questionable. Information about A'dri's dragon Dragon Name: Remmahth Colour: Bronze Age: 0 Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: This bronze is rather large and buff-looking, even right out of the shell. While he'll never be the largest bronze around, not even a serious contender for the title, he'll always give the impression of great power, even without the bulky muscles usually associated with it. He's a fairly handsome fellow, with pleasant coppery hide. His forelimbs are much paler, starting a bit below the shoulders and continuing past his elbows. Well above the wrist, however, they darken considerably, giving him gloves. Personality: He knows he's good-looking, too; every so often, when he catches a reflection of himself, he'll stop for a moment to admire it. This isn't to say he's vain, though, so much as self-centered and aware of his rugged handsomeness, and wants to take a moment to appreciate it. He does, however, consider himself Faranth's gift to dragonkind. Every female dragon should want him, and every male dragon should want to be him. After all, he's dashing and daring and absolutely perfect; who wouldn't love and idolize him? ...Alright, maybe he's just the *teensiest* bit vain... Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: With great power comes great responsi- er, stamina. Even the longest, most hectic Threadfalls won't tire Remmahth out. In fact, he lives for those kinds of Falls; they give him the perfect opportunity to show off. And, frankly, they're just plain fun. He'll want to keep doing drills (or, as a Weyrling, lessons) long after everyone else is ready to drop... and he'll still seem as fresh as at the start.
