Name Pronounced: ee-lah
Appearance: Plump is a good way to describe Yla. She’s not fat, really, but it’s very clear that she’s rarely ever missed a meal. There is strength under that extra flesh, oh yes. It would be hard not to have some strength, working out in the fields all day long, or working in the cothold doing any number of chores. But she’ll never be the pretty beauty like some of her sisters, and she knows it. Her hair is an unremarkable brown color, kept long enough to keep up in a tidy little bun to keep it out of the way. Brown eyes, browned skin, nothing remarkable about her at all. Even her clothes are a bit frumpy-looking.
Personality: Given her unremarkable appearance, one would think that Yla is the sort to just fade into the background without a sound. That she’s the meek little mouse in the cothold that everyone would overlook without a second thought. Well, the overlooked part is true, but the meekness couldn’t be further from the truth.
History: Yla was born in a small cothold in the Arolos Hold territory, just one more daughter in a mob of children. Even as a small child, her intelligence and desire to know more made her stand out. She was always curious about everything, constantly asking questions of whoever would give her the time and attention.
Information about Yla's dragon
Dragon Name: Parasath
Wing (Weyrling Group): Miscellaneous Riders
Personality: Parasath is tiny, but her mouth is wide and generous. If a dragon could grin Parasath would be constantly beaming at the world. Maybe she's too small to carry more than her rider in the air but she'll be a talented swimmer, and will end up being one of the best in the Weyr at swimming, yep yep yep!
