Y'ningName Pronounced: yin-ing Appearance: It seems impossible that Y'ning ever does anything but sit perfectly still and concentrate on not wrinkling his tunic by breathing too deeply or inadvertently twitching some muscle. Faranth forbid he ever frown or smile or blink too many times, as he may line his flawless face. Maybe he’s afraid he’ll break something? Personality: Y'ning is as cold as he looks, if not colder. He doesn’t particularly care for people. He doesn’t make friends or form bonds. He cares for himself, the dragon he will one day have, and Fort Weyr. In his own way that may extend to caring for the Weyrwoman and her Weyrleader, and the vital few people the Weyr absolutely could not survive without, but everyone else is expendable. Everyone else can be replaced easily enough, and so may be sacrificed if for the greater good. History: Both of Yoxning’s parents are long dead. His birth killed his mother, and only a few years after Yoxning was born, his father finally impressed his bronze only to die as a weyrling in an accident caused, Yoxning believes, by the incompetence of a holder-bred weyrling who hadn’t taken the training seriously. There were attempts to foster Yoxning, so that he wouldn’t spend his entire childhood in the creche, but he firmly resisted every try. No one could compare to /his/ parents. Information about Y'ning's dragon Dragon Name: Ilenth Colour: Bronze Age: 3 Wing (Weyrling Group): Direflame Appearance: Ilenth is perfection with a pair of wings added on. There isn't a Weyr on Pern that could ask for a more finely-formed young bronze; he is the Personality: He is an absolute cold fish. Worse, some have their doubts that he even has any hearts at all. Maybe Ilenth lives on disdain and disapproval alone, fueled by his sense of utter supremacy. /No one/ can ever hope to match him. Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: Ilenth is a brilliant tactition and can often very clearly see what needs to be done to win the fight. And he *will* win regardless of who needs to be sacrificed. His abilities in flying are generally all middle-ground, though he tends to show more in agility rather than stamina.
