Appearance: Sogorun's of average height, with muscular features making him broad across the shoulders and on down through his thick, powerful limbs. Farming has clearly suited him and has even given him bronze skin which's in good health. His face is likewise broad, having dark blue eyes that're deepset among the beginning wrinkles from his increasing age. The fluffy hair still has a bit of color but the dark strands are few and far between, it's mainly grey and cut on the shortish side.

Personality: What seems most noticable is his stoic and not easily rattled nature. Over Ateyu he loses his cool head easier but prefers seeing his grandson make it through life on his own. He seems almost a-glow whenever he hears about Ateyu's antics and even joins in himself whenever he can spare the time. Sogorun views it as his second childhood with him letting loose more than someone of increasing age should. But only around Ateyu. His sense of duty was what made him accept the Lord Holdership, however, the numbers he deals with keeps him focused on work. They receive a serious demeanor or harsh criticism since, in all honesty, he'd rather be left alone. He's a just man though not one who lashes out much when there's no reason.

A cothold was what Sogorun would've preferred but, since his sister married a larger dream, he moved, settling near Forest Edge. He stayed around his family and may've remained a background figure were there no famine. Mal-nutrition made his wife vulnerable against the illness which struck her then, in his grief over her death, he took Lord Hold Nikolai's next actions badly.

What was one runner compared against human life? He furthered the existing discontent but dared not risk his family through more drastic action. Not once during Lord Holder changes did he expect that someone of *his* family'd be Lord Holder. Atuna was Fedor's cousin from the mother's side, so was easily overlooked. It was her family, however, which was around when Bournvrun took his leave, despite Atuna and Ekymnon parishing during the volcano. In that situation Sogorun found himself as Lord Holder of Forest Edge.

Pet Type: Green Firelizard

Appearance: She has a slender body with a long neck and tail. Her hide is vibrant mint green, except for three narrow stripes running along her spine from her forehead to the tip of her tail; the color there is lighter and looks almost bluish in contrast to the rest of her.

Personality: Some firelizards seem to have a particular talent for music and mimicry; this green is such a one. She whistles almost constantly, learning tunes easily and will sing along if she hears one she knows. She also improvises her own melodies, though they don't make much sense to human ears.

Like most greens, she has a short attention span, but a patient person could train her to sing on command, or even to whistle a particular pitch. The real challenge would be teaching her to be quiet on occasion. She's unfailingly in a contagiously happy mood. This doesn't change when she gets proddy, though she becomes quite the outrageous little flirt.
