RiagoCharacter type: Renegade Appearance: At first glance, Riago looks like your average, everyday Pernese male. He has a well-combed set of full, inch-length raven black hair on his head and a pair of the most beautiful baby blue eyes that anyone will ever have laid eyes on. The only "ugly" mark on the man's perfectly sculpted body are the scars on his back and the one on his face, running across his right cheek and up over his eye. He was lucky not to have been blinded in that eye. He's not a tall man, standing only 5'5" and he's incredibly skinny, but in such a cute way... Personality: Externally, Riago comes off as a normal everyday citizen of the Hold. He says his pleases and thank yous and even offers to do neighborly things for those around him. But when you turn your back, or behind closed doors, he is an entirely different person. His background led him to be a misanthropic, hateful person, and he has a giant grudge against everyone around him. He has never known true love and it's everybody's fault as far as he's convinced. The world has never done anything for him and he won't do anything for the world in return. History: Riago's parents were an odd pair. His father was a Hold Guard (later to be ex-guard) and his mother was a drudge. His father ended up turning to ale and fellis to soothe his nerves and as a result, he gradually became addicted to both substances and his entire personality was warped. He became abusive and began to beat Riago for the pleasure of it, and for fun, he would throw in a little bit of sexual molestation when he wanted. When Riago was six, his mother told him of how they never wanted a child and tried several times to abort but being the 'bastard of a child' that he was, he just HAD to be born and ruin both of their lives. Having no other immediate famly, Riago was forced to endure that kind of life until six Turns later somebody discovered the parents' abusive tendencies and had the boy fostered off to Harperhall in Fort.
