Name Pronounced: Rha-slyn
Appearance: Rhoslyn is beautiful, very beautiful, but hers is a cold beauty. She is pale skinned and avoids the sun because of that. Her long, straight hair is almost white blonde, with only the slightest hint of ash blonde to keep it from being pure white. She usually keeps it tied into a ponytail on top of her head because of its length. It has never been cut. Rhoslyn's eyes are icy blue, framed by long, sooty lashes. She is fairly tall for a woman, standing at 5'9", and is long and lean as a dancer.
Personality: Rhoslyn's personality matches her appearance, at least at first aquaintance. She is unfailingly polite, but distant and icy cold. It would take a very special, or a very determined person to break through the shell of ice she hides behind. Once her walls are breached, however, the same ice that once tried to keep you out will enfold and protect you, the same way an igloo does in the arctic. She is fiercely loyal and one of the truest friends you will ever meet, if you only have the patience to wait her out.
History: Rhoslyn was born to a fairly rich holder and lived the first sixteen years of her life as his pampered only daughter. Her mother died in childbirth with her younger brother, whom the remaining family was told was stillborn, when Rhoslyn was two. Her father remarried a few years later to one of her mother's former good friends. Rhoslyn's stepmother quickly showed that she had never truly been Rhoslyn's mother's friend, however. Behind her father's back, her stepmother abused the young woman verbally and emotionally.
Information about Rhoslyn's pets
Pet Name: Lacey
Pet Type: Green Firelizard
Appearance: Lacey is small and almost sinuous, with a long, almost snake like body. She gets her name from the lace-like pattern of dark green that covers her ice green back.
Personality: Unlike her Pet, Lacey is a very loving creature. Her favorite place to be is curled under Rhoslyn's chin, her head next to her person's heart.
Information about Rhoslyn's dragon
Dragon Name: Ranierth
Wing (Weyrling Group): None
Personality: Ranierth can be forgiven for immaturity - after all, she just hatched. However, even as an old lady, she will retain a certain innocence to her - never quite realising when she's being flirted with, always able to forget what she was MEANT to be doing at the drop of a hat and running off to do something else instead.
