RalfeCharacter type: Guard Appearance: Ralfe walks with the slightly over-confident swagger of a boy who's just been given authority. He's not a mere child anymore, but a *man* - a man training to be a Guard no less! Among drudges, and youngsters his own age and younger this tends to give him a certain arrogant expression - when he's finished training after all, he's going to *be* something. He has a *right* to the rather arrogant expression that sometimes appears in his brown eyes - he's a man now! Personality: Ralfe always had a bit of the know-it-all, but now he's in Guard training that's increased to the point where he can at times be almost unbearable. He's gone from not caring about politics to working in it, and consequently wanting to stuff it down the throats of everyone he knows. Be less than properly respectful about a ranker in his hearing, and even if you have decades on him, be prepared to receive a lecture on how rankers only want what's best for the Weyr, and you better respect them, or else! History: Ralfe was born the son of two drudges, but this humble beginning never seemed to trouble him. Even as a toddler he was a bossy child - the one who tried to get all the other kids in the Creche to play what *he* wanted. As he got older, and other children started to challenge that dominance he was often found getting into scraps - which he often lost, not that that ever seemed to deter him.
