P'rynName Pronounced: P rin Appearance: Average in height, 5'4", Penryn is a touch on the lean side at about 107 pounds. He is a fairly decent runner, has a slender build with strong arms and legs from climbing rigging and cliffs. Olive toned complexion is darkened by a tan from being outdoors most of the time. Honey brown eyes and dark brown hair. There are calluses on his hands, from climbing rope rigging to get to the crow's nest on the larger fishing and trading boats, and a scar on his lower right leg from where it was broken at age 9. Personality: Penryn is a bit of a daredevil. He likes climbing. A LOT. He also enjoys playing practical jokes on his sisters and brother. When he can't be found either working in the Hold, or out on a fishing boat, he is usually off climbing cliffs or trees somewhere. Penryn loves spending time in the crow's nest on the bigger fishing boats. His longing to be in high places has caused his family more than their share of grief, especially his mother. And his love of jokes and tricks has caused more than one fight between siblings. History: Born and raised in Island View Hold, Penryn has done more traveling than most in his short life. He was taken on his first fishing/trading expedition at a young age, and since then, has gone many times, even so far as Arolos Weyr a time or two. Pen is the second youngest of 5, with two older sisters, an older brother, and younger sister. There were also two other brothers, which both died in the same incident that broke Pen's leg. The broken leg, once healed, didn't stop Pen from climbing every chance he got, though it did slow down his traveling for a while. He has hopes to one day have his own boat. Information about P'ryn's pets Pet Name: Nort Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: Not a large blue, Nort's base color is a pretty shade of autumn sky blue. He has freckles of a darker twilight blue, starting with just a few darker spots on his muzzle and head, and increasing until his hindquarters and tail are almost completely dark blue, with only a few specks of the lighter color. Personality: 2 turns old, Nort is timid with anyone except Pen and his nephew (the one that named him). He is generally lazy and can be seen sunning himself or sleeping, when not being fed by Pen or his other special human. Second Pet Name: Scally Pet Type: Canine Appearance: Small black dog (terrier sized) with one white ear and two white hind paws. Scally is a good hunter of tunnel snakes and other small animals. Personality: Friendly, high energy, and very protective. Too energetic to be indoors for long, Scally keeps her home safe from vermin. When not hunting, she roams with Pen and Nort. Information about P'ryn's dragon Dragon Name: Robelth Colour: Brown Age: 8.28.5.2 Wing (Weyrling Group): Midsummer Dreamers (May 2020) Appearance: Chunky from the moment he breaks his shell, that baby fat will be chiselled away into thick, powerful muscle and Robelth will end up an impressively large brown when all is said and done. He will be broadly shouldered with a long and powerful tail that will be much to long and far too clumsy when he is on the ground, but in the air will serve as a powerful rudder to make him a surprisingly agile and acrobatic flyer. Personality: Robelth is mischievous through and through, a trait that will follow him all the way into adulthood - adoring innocent practical jokes and will egg his Rider on terribly to be a willing accomplice in his games. Surprisingly shrewd, he will be an ideal candidate for a leading role, having the ability to judge situations exceptionally well and act to bring about the best possible outcome. Especially if it benefits him as well.
