History: Navidya was born in Fort Hold. Her father was a Bronzerider from Fort Weyr. Her father had some time off, as limited it as it was. He always liked to be close to the Weyr, in case something happened so we went to Fort Hold, met her mother in the marketplace, a Weaver and fell in love. Nav was the offspring of their love. When she was 8, she had an interest in dragons. She mentioned it to her father she wanted to become a dragonrider, just like him. Her mother overheard and dismissed it as a child's fantasy, a dream that would never be achievable. Her mother said to her, "Know your place, dear, being dragonrider is a man's job and no place for a girl."
