M'ayenName Pronounced: May-en Appearance: Although he's getting on in years, M'ayen has had the advantage of being a dragonrider to keep him fit. Where a drudge at his age would be bent over, and starting to look old, M'ayens's back is straight still. He's a tall man, standing at just under six foot, and doesn't seem to have an ounce of fat on him. He'd look sticklike, if it weren't for the muscles that come with riding a dragon. Personality: M'ayen KNOWS straightness is a state of mind. No-one HAS to let themselves give into such urges. Afterall, HE hasn't. History: M'ayen was born to a drudge, and to a brownrider father who never really paid all that much attention to him until he Impressed bronze. That got their attention, and had he allowed it, M'ayen would have had more parenting in the following years than he had ever had as a child. However, even then he decided he had Impressed a dragon, and that meant he was an ADULT. He shrugged their attempts off with annoyance, determinedly standing on his own two feet. Information about M'ayen's dragon Dragon Name: Ardeth Colour: Bronze Age: 46 Wing (Weyrling Group): CandidateMasters Appearance: Ardeth, like his rider, is getting on in years. The bronze which once shone brightly is paler now, espiecially around the muzzle. Silver Threadscores mark his hide in various places. M'ayen isn't ashamed of these - they're often shown to Candidates with warnings that this IS the danger you run in Fall. Personality: Ardeth tends to take life very seriously. More than anything, the system is important. Even though he's not in an official capacity over Weyrlings anymore, he'll still lecture their dragons on that. Fort has survived so long because it WORKS afterall. He's certain Arolos can benefit from the same wisdom. Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: It's a long time since Ardeth has flown Thread as part of a proper wing. He's slow, his reactions struggling, and he knows it. Age does that.
