J'mariName Pronounced: Juh-mar-ee Appearance: Appearance: Jalmari is currently a short little boy, standing only 5 feet tall. That will change, eventually, but not for some time yet. He's a skinny thing, all elbows and knees, with few apparent muscles, though he is stronger than he looks. Jalmari has shoulder length strawberry blond hair that he habitually keeps tied back, and large, dark blue eyes. Personality: Quiet and patient are perhaps the best words to describe Jalmari. Patience is important for a smith; working stones into tools or carved objects takes a lot of time, and involves a lot of repetition. Jalmari doesn't mind this, he loves seeing those stones slowly take on their appointed shape and purpose, and is willing to take as long as it takes to get the chore done. History: born: 8.10.05.26 Information about J'mari's pets Pet Name: Ink Pet Type: Runner Appearance: Ink is on the smaller side, standing just a little over 14 hands tall, and is compactly built. His hide is a solid inky black color, with bluish highlights to it. Personality: Ink is a steady fellow; having been raised near the sounds of the Forges and noises of the Smith Hall has inured him to such sounds, and they don't bother him much. He's been trained to work, and doesn't bulk at most tasks he's set to, so long as he doesn't have to move to fast. Information about J'mari's dragon Dragon Name: Tricerath Colour: Blue Age: 8.23.1.1 Wing (Weyrling Group): Weyrling Wing (Under 16) Appearance: Personality: Tricerath hatches from the egg, alert, smart but rather shy. He is not at all certain of himself and for all that he is a bold stunning pure blue he has a tendency to drop back, worried that he will attract too much attention. Triceraths most notable feature is that he does have a tendency to express himself a little over formally or in complicated language - he'll get better as he starts to realise other people don't understand him, but he has a very impressive vocabulary for a dragon. Because he is quite shy, any dragon that becomes his friend will earn his undying loyalty and if there is one thing that Tricerath is, it is courageous and dynamic under pressure. If you need a dragon who can calculate firestone requirements for the wing in a second, Tricerath is your blue. If you need a dragon who can analyse strengths and weaknesses in a wing pattern, Tricerath can do it in a trice (pun intended!). He is the type of dragon who might be thought of as not having a lot of physical strength - and certainly there are better fighters of thread out there, but his insight and awareness protects those around him - and he would be the first to throw himself in front of a thread clump to save those he cares about. No one would ever suspect that from the shy seeming blue on the sands, but when they get to know him, they will find he is one of the most valuable dragons in the weyr.
