HalettCharacter type: SeaCrafter Appearance: Halett's dark brown hair is maddeningly curly. He keeps it cut short, but not matter how short he cuts it he still can't keep it flattened. It insists on springing back into tight little curls no matter what he does. Personality: Halett isn't a popular boy - not with his fellow apprentices, nor with his senior officers. In return, he doesn't like them either. He never sees the good side of most people, noting and remembering only the bad - that time someone was hypocritical, that time someone else spoke against the Captain. His imagination can sometimes make such minor crimes much worse than they are, and he is guilty from time to time of spreading malicious gossip which simply isn't true. History: Halett was born the second son in quite a well-off Holder family. Unfortunetly for him, it was a family which had a tradition of letting the older son inherit, and sending the younger sons off to sea as soon as they were old enough.
