DonotelCharacter type: SeaCrafter Appearance: 5 foot 8 tall, medium-length brown hair tied back, brown eyes. Tanned, originally slim and muscular but starting to run to fat. A bad leg injury, requiring him to walk with a cane, keeps him from active sea duty. However, he is fit to go out fishing and sailing in calmer weather. Personality: A restless, adventurous man frustrated by his leg injury. He walks as much as possible to keep his leg from stiffening. He chats to everyone who comes into port, and spends time at the local "watering-spot" soaking up information along with the ale, vicariously enjoying other people's adventures. Not a gossip, he learns more than he tells, and would have made a good harper if he could sing or play. He gives himself whatever excitement he can find, fishing, exploring the offshore islands, riding a runner-beast to nearby holds. When not otherwise occupied he spends time in the Records Room looking at the maps and reliving his adventures. History: Born and raised at Tillek Hold, Donotel worked on fishing-boats as apprentice. Later he got bored with fishing, switched to trading-ships and visited other northern ports such as Gar Hold and Half Circle. Eventually he went back to Tillek to get his Seacraft journeyman's knot. Came to Arolos 25 turns ago to work in the coastal trade. On his last voyage he injured his leg too badly to continue working at sea and took a post in the Transportation department at the Seacrafters'Hall. Currently in charge of Shipping and Receiving, and also keeps track of info about shipwrecks, overdue ships, and people missing at sea. He likes to go exploring with his friends Harper Annasco and Healer Cazasco.
