B'joCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: B'jo is not a tall man. He topped out at about 5'8". The past few turns have not done him any favors in the health front. He is thin to the point of gauntness, and there are lines around his eyes and mouth that have not always been there. Once thick brown hair is graying at the temples. He has large brown eyes that seem almost too big for his face. For all that, there is a lively quickness about his movements, and his features are mobile and expressive. He has the pale skin of a Northerner, and likely it will take him some time to acclimate to the South without getting sunburned. Personality: B'jo has learned patience and humility. They have been hard-won lessons, and he's still a work in progress, but this once cocky young man who figured he had the world by the tail has had to deal with the fact that this isn't the case. He can't quite shake his faith in the goodness of the world and that justice will prevail, but sometimes that armor of idealism is a little frayed. He's loyal to his friends, though he can sometimes be a bit more bossy and overprotective than they might like. He'll be the first to say someone else needs to relax and stop taking on extra responsibilities, but he, himself, is something of a workaholic. When he lets himself relax, he is jovial, quick to smile and offer a joke. But there's always so much that needs doing, and, of course, he has to be the one to do it. As an AWLM, he is the kind of instructor that is tough but fair, and he genuinely enjoys the experience of watching young dragonpairs reach their full potential. History: B'jo had something of a charmed childhood. He was a flight baby born to a prospective Goldrider Candidate and a Brownrider at High Reaches. This meant that as a child, he was petted and spoiled more than perhaps was good for him, since his mother didn't end up Impressing, but did have a vested interest in giving her son the best life she could. There was never any doubt in his mind that he would grow up to become a dragonrider, and that he would Impress bronze and eventually grow up to be the Weyrleader. Information about B'jo's dragon Dragon Name: Kazarith Colour: Bronze Age: 14 Wing (Weyrling Group): WeyrlingMasters Appearance: Kazarith has always been small. In fact, he's only a bit bigger than a large brown. He is a pale, slender, and almost dainty-looking bronze. He's not to be underestimated, though. When he's healthy, he always seems to be in motion, and he has the energy of a Weyrling. Personality: Kazarith is friendly and outgoing, something of a flirt when it comes to golds and greens, and generally willing to talk to most people or dragons. He has a wry, mischievous sense of humor, and even at his age is not above a few harmless pranks. He has an endless store of patience with Weyrlings, and tends to be the kind of teacher that will try to lead a young dragon to find the right answers to their questions on their own. Like his rider, he can be a bit of a workaholic, tending to overestimate his abilities more often than not, so he sometimes needs to be curbed and forced to stop moving and rest. Weyr of Origin: High Reaches Abilites and weaknesses: Being on the small side for a bronze, he doesn't have the stamina that some of his fellow bronzes do. This is not helped by his own bout of ill health. However, he is determined, and has enough charisma to be a voice of encouragement when other dragons in his wing falter.
