Ay'lirCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Ay'lir's eyes are a warm light brown, and his skin is fair. His hair is a sort of reddish dark brown. His build is slender, though not bony. Though wiry with the requisite muscle of all dragonriders, Ay'lir at first seems, well, soft- featured. Personality: Ay'lir is definitely the quiet sort, though it's a friendly sort of quiet. He prefers not to stir up trouble, though he has a tendency to be around when there's an accident. He'd prefer to accept his life the way it is, though most of the time he makes an extra effort to do or try something new, or see something from someone else's point of view. He's comfortable by himself, or with Llath, but at the same time, he's versatile enough to fit in in any group. History: Ayulir was born to a brownriding father and a greenriding mother in High Reaches Weyr. Though both his parents were Weyrmates, and loved one another and him, they had little time for their son. He was placed in the care of the creche. Even when he was little, Ayulir showed an interest in dragons, and when he turned 12, Ayulir decided to apprentice as a DragonHealer. Though they were hoping to see him Impress, his parents agreed with his choice. It was only when he turned 16 that he finally decided to Stand. He Impressed blue Llath without any problem, and the two quickly became known for their hard work and willing natures. Information about Ay'lir's dragon Dragon Name: Llath Colour: Blue Age: 8 Wing (Weyrling Group): Direflame Appearance: Llath is a dark, steely blue. His back and head are darker than the rest of him, more cobalt. The blue of his chest and belly are more frosty. His wings natch the darker blue of his back, and are perfectly proportioned. Personality: Llath is a confident, friendly blue. He loves company, and though he respects the larger bronzes and browns, he is in no awe of them. He is one of the few dragons that will talk freely to anyone, be it dragon or human. Much to Ay'lir's dismay, Llath always likes to be in the middle of things. Weyr of Origin: High Reaches Abilites and weaknesses: Average size for a blue, Llath has a tendency to push himself, which may result in post- fall strain and the need for sleep. However, it also gives him an edge, as he won't allow any Thread he sees to go un-flamed.
