Appearance: A mere 5 foot-4, with wiry stature making Ateyu quick on his feet, he can easily manuever his long legs around obstacles. The graceful movement stands out foremost since his muscles haven't great definition. They are, however, firm-built and keeps his skin smooth, on where a soft tan complexion deepens into a richer copper should he spend much time outside. Which he does rather often.

He seems more an adult since woodwork's given him calluses on every finger, but his cheeks have a youthful puff. His pert nose wrinkles or twitches whenever his emotions change and even his eyes can seem innocent with their warm, cobalt color. That open-book expression makes him seem younger to anyone guessing his age. Wispy bangs surround his face in their natural straw-blond whereas the hair he brushes into a fluffy, medium-length array is dyed black.

Personality: Ateyu has a strong but balanced personality. The confidence won't become arrogance, risks are taken only whenever the need arises and his independence has a martyr complex. Why should he wait for someone else when he can possibly help? Whatever the situation, it takes work rattling his composed stance as he adapts quick, so his determination never wavers for long. He's a charming individual who won't hide without an exceptional reason. A narcissist, he's certain people need him as much as he needs himself but his love for another is platonic. Neither can he handle disappointing them whether their interest is real or imaginary, instead he points such attention onto someone else.

Ateyu remembers his grandma somewhat, however, his parents spoiled him so he'd not mourn. It work but he saw what events came next despite their efforts and his grandpa's sorrow made him more aware of people's suffering. He was upset with his parents, their protectiveness would become sufficating eventually in his need to help others. He tried apprenticing as a healer but discovered he couldn't stomach the injuries when up-close. Since beastcrafting also carried the same problem he went into the woodcraft instead, learning to carve figurines.

During the next Gather he witnessed a trader with dyed hair and it inspired him into coloring his own as a symbol ...then came the volcano. Sogorun took Ateyu away but, with Atuna pregnant, she and Ekymnon stayed behind until the eruption began. They never escaped though since the room collapsed on them. When he and Sogorun returned there was so much cleanup he paid no heed over anything else. He wasn't very interested over Bournvrun leaving, didn't even think about what it'd mean until his grandpa was suddenly Lord Holder.

He's also inherited one of his father's last remaining runnerbeasts.

Pet Type: Runner

Appearance: This stallion won't inspire an image of the foal he once must've been. He is among the bigger sizes with broad muscles and powerful legs making him a steady runner. His dapple grey coloration has various patches interlocking on him as would pieces of a puzzle, hence his name. There's even a white ring around his neck. His mane and tail are different as they're a solid black.

Personality: One can avoid trouble from Puzzlework, who stamps his hooves should Ateyu give another runnerbeast attention. It seems like he wants exercise and Ateyu'd better get himself into gear. Demanding? Yes. But he calms the moment someone's on his back, having a sudden tolerance for whatever takes Ateyu's attention.
