AnfaCharacter type: Staff Appearance: With a wrinkled face like an old withered redfruit, Anfa is one of the lucky ones who through luck and fortitude was able to survive countless disasters, becoming one of the old aunties of Fort. She looks like the stereotypical cute little grey haired grandmother, barely topping an inch or two past five feet tall, but her bleary blue eyes can blaze with a fierce intensity that belies her soft appearance. She is rarely seen without her 'whacking cane' and despite her age she can still wield it with a vigour that matches her temper at the time. You can still see traces of what must have been a great classic beauty at times, though most of that has been ravaged by time. Personality: Crafty old Anfa knows how to use her age to her advantage. She's learned how to get out of the worst of the work turns ago and now that she's veritably ancient she spends the majority of her time watching over brats or much preferably, sitting by the fire in the kitchens in order to boss the lazy wretched drudges about. History: The daughter of a wingleader and a great weyrbred beauty in her youth, Anfa refused to stand for any clutches, gold egg or not, lest she shame her important father by Impressing a sub standard dragon. Instead she attached herself to a promising bronzerider and bore him a son. When the man died in an unfortunate accident she attached herself to another and bore him three more.
