AndraName Pronounced: AHN-druh Appearance: Will Andra ever hit a growth spurt? They say girls spring up faster than boys, but she's still a tiny little thing, under five feet tall. Her figure reflects this, too, for she is as flat-chested and delicate as a prepubescent child. Personality: Andra is highly intelligent; numbers are but tools to be manipulated for her. On the other hand, she dislikes reading, and writing basic essays or creatively she sees as a waste of time. In general, however, her studies are of the utmost importance in her life. History: If asked, Andra will tell you that she has no history -- she's "always been" Andra, she'll say without a hint of irony. But everyone has a story, no matter how bland or explosive, and this is hers: Information about Andra's pets Pet Name: Needle Pet Type: Feline Appearance: This creature is a monster of a cat -- think a Terran Maine Coon. He's at least twenty-two pounds (10 kilos), he's just barely big enough for Andra to carry, and he's built a lot like a boulder: wide and thick. His fluffiness, akin to an unstuffed pillow, doesn't help matters. Nor is he gentle-looking, at the very least; he has claws like needlepoints, from which he gets his name, and his black fur allows him to prowl in the corners of the Weyr undetected. 'Folk who don't know him will see those grey-green eyes and wince -- he's got a badass vibe going on. Personality: ...But at the very least, Needle is mostly well-behaved. Prim, in fact; he is reserved, languorous, and does little without Andra around. If the Pernese had such a thing, he could be likened to a familiar: he has a sense of ownership over her and is certainly highly attached. When she acts out of the norm – showing emotion, etc. – he's immediately concerned. And he'd follow her around every day if he could, canine-like. Of course, her busyness prevents that, and so he amuses himself by exploring his immediate surroundings, never quite getting into trouble.
