Zy'fenName Pronounced: Zigh fen Appearance: Standing at a slightly above average height of 5'11", and weighing 155 pounds (or about 11.07 stones), Zy'fen has short brown hair, hazel eyes and an athletic build. He generally keeps himself neat and clean shaven, his hair trimmed and well groomed. His clothes are the same, and he is quite fastidious about it, brushing off any dust or other debris as soon as he possibly can. This extends to his dragon's appearance as well, as Nerenth has picked up in his rider's inclination for personal cleanliness. The length of his left forearm, from just above his elbow, past his wrist, is scarred with Threadscore, where a clump got through during a flight about 5 turns ago. Personality: Aside from his need to always appear clean and tidy, Zy'fen can have a brash, somewhat cocky attitude. He gets along with almost everyone, and flirts with nearly any pretty girl who will talk to him. He was a steady and reliable wingrider, unafraid to get down to business when it comes to clearing away Thread. Being scored by a rogue clump of Thread about 5 turns ago made him very serious about his position as a wingrider. Aside from that, Zy'fen is generally easy going and almost always has a smile on his face. The two things that will get his temper up is being called a liar or a thief. History: Born and raised as an Ista weyr brat, Weyr life is all Z'yfen has known. All he was suited for, really, as he had no other true calling to any Craft. He Stood a few times before Impressing Nerenth, and was more than happy with the Bond. Things were as peaceful as can be expected until about 5 turns ago, when a rogue clump of Thread severely scored his left arm, leaving him with a slight loss of range of motion that the Healers and constant exercise keep at bay. Then, about a turn ago, a shipment of wine went missing, and the Headwoman of Ista blamed Zy'fen. He was exonerated when the wine was found, but things had been strained since then, and he put in for a transfer. Information about Zy'fen's pets Pet Name: Zynin Pet Type: Bronze Firelizard Appearance: The Warm Embers egg: Personality: Zynin's personality is as warm as his coloring--you look at him and just want to snuggle him close. And he is a snugglebug, most of the time. He's not lazy, but he will be hard to train because he wants to snuggle more than work. However, if his Person works with him very hard, he will be rewarded with a firelizard that can almost anticipate his needs. Information about Zy'fen's dragon Dragon Name: Nerenth Colour: Brown Age: 16 Wing (Weyrling Group): Miscellaneous Riders Appearance: Nerenth is a sturdy, mid sized brown, average in length, with strong, very muscular legs. His hide starts out at a dark, slightly reddish cinnamon color along his spine, lightening to a dappled brown the color of winter leaves on his belly. That cinnamon colored streak continues all the way to the end of his snout, where a blotch of a darker brown makes it look as though he dipped his muzzle into a mud puddle. Nerenth constantly has to remind anyone who helps him bathe that his snout really isn't dirty. Personality: Zy'fen and Nerenth are much alike in their propensity for attention to personal appearance. Nerenth is often seen bathing or preening, when not on duty. He enjoys making his hide as spotless and dust free as possible. Beyond his need for tidiness, Nerenth is usually more of a listener than a talker, and he enjoys just sitting on the lakeshore, watching everything and everyone around him. Especially if his Zy'fen is flirting with a pretty girl. This amuses Nerenth to no end. Weyr of Origin: Ista Abilites and weaknesses: Nerenth strongly dislikes being in the least bit untidy, when it can be helped. He is intolerant of being dusty or having a dull hide. To the point of distraction, at times.
