WillumCharacter type: SeaCrafter Appearance: Willum looks like a man many turns younger than he is - a scant 5'5" in height, and slim of build. The only reason he's not mistaken for a child more often is the beard he's cultivated - coal black as his hair and kept neatly trimmed. His eyes a a non-descript grey colour, and hidden under thick eyebrows. He has a simple tatoo of a hammer and anvil on his left shoudler blade, and he has a very noticeable scar on the back of his head. Personality: Though a rather quiet man in general, Willum has an extraordinary sense of self. He is not easily swayed from his own moral principals and decisions, and once he *has* decided on something he sticks with it. Though he doesn't go out of his way to make friends, most people have found that the few words of encouragement he gives are enough to lift the spirits and strengthen resolve. Posessed of a very quick mind, Willum picks up on new ideas, practises and lessons with ease - he's also remarkably adaptable and good at making the best of a bad situation. Unlike most sailors Willum has never been one to 'spread the wild oats' and has always been faithful to his wife Fahtua. History: Born in Telgar Hold Willum was raised as part of a smithing family. He was always expected to follow in his father's footsteps - indeed he had been brough into the smithy to 'help' from the age of 8 - it was the Sea he found calling him. Going against the wishes of his family he left at 11 for Fort SeaHold, and was taken on board the first ship that would have him.
