W'kiName Pronounced: Wah-KEE Appearance: W'ki is a sturdy little guy. He won’t grow to be terribly tall, but he’s got a lot of potential to be a powerful man. He has a bit of an exotic look to him with slightly tilted brown eyes and skin that’s a tad darker than normal for someone in the north. His black hair is course and straight and kept fairly short. He likes to wear strip of cloth around his head, mostly because it make his hair stand up and because he thinks it makes him look tougher. Personality: It’s obvious that W'ki’s father is a bronze rider and one very dedicated to Fort tradition. Already, Wakine has a great disdain for anything other than bronze and some good brown riders. He hero-worships the ground any bronze rider may have walked on and shadows them to the point of being irritating. “How can I help you, sir? Can I get you that, sir? Anything you need, sir!” However, anyone that is too low-ranking is often met with an obstinate “why should I?”. He’s been so ingrained with the idea that bronze is good, green is bad that he’s only willing to listen to the high-ranking folk, except for a few rare people that have earned his respect or admiration. However, anyone he might like he would turn on in a moment if a ranker asked him to. It’s the way daddy taught him after all. History: Korwell and Anlie grew up in the south in a small cothold along the coast. They were lifelong friends turned lovers that decided they were determined to see the world. Pern was full of fascinating and wonderful places that they made their way too. Fort Weyr was not one of them. However Korwell, who was nineteen when they reached Fort, was searched. He stood and at his second hatching he impressed his bronze, Saulith The day after he had another surprise,: Anlie was pregnant. Information about W'ki's dragon Dragon Name: Alath Colour: Blue Age: 7 Wing (Weyrling Group): Firedance Appearance: Though he's a large young dragonet, Alath is a bony one. His pale blue hide seems stretched taunt over his skeleton in places, and this will make him vulnerable to painful bumps and knocks while he's still small. His lifemate may grow used to the occasional flare of pain along a limb as Alath manages to jar the bone badly and, while Alath may try not to complain much, may get accustomed to providing comfort without hurting the little blue's dignity. Personality: He's a hostile little creature, suspicious of those he does not know, and bearing grudges against any who upset him. Trust will be hard to gain, easy to lose, and almost impossible to regain once lost. For all that though, Alath rarely acts without thinking. If he is wronged, Alath will only act against the offender if there is absolutely no possibility of comeback for his actions. Otherwise he will hold onto his grudge, cherishing it like a beloved child, waiting patiently for the time he can have his revenge. Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: Alath is huge for his size and though he doesn't have the muscles to be overly strong, he is light with broad wings for staying power in the air and has a fair amount of agility for his size. Even as a grown dragon he is still bony and all sharp angles and still very prone to hurting himself with knocks and bumps.
