Name Pronounced: Teh-rin
Appearance: T'ryn looks like what people would expect a bronze rider to look like. He's tall, with a slender build, and well toned muscles. His face is angular, with a well defined nose, brown eyes and full lips. His hair is black and curly, and kept cut short.
Personality: Arrogant? A bit, yes. That arrogance came after he Impressed, though, after it became clear to him that he ~was~ better than those around him. After all, he did Impress a bronze. He's a gregarious sort of person, loving to be in the company of others, especially the ladies. He's a handsome fellow, and he knows it, and doesn't waste an opportunity to show it off. What he never planned on was being a leader of any sort. He's more of the wait and see, follow others sort of person, not a take charge and go kind of person. Learning to be the one to take command, as expected of a bronze rider, is something he's still trying to adjust to.
History: Taryn was born in a northern cothold, into a long line of woodcrafters. Like the rest of his siblings, he was expected to follow in the family craft, and Taryn certainly didn't mind the thought of this. He liked working with wood, liked building things, especially liked learning to carve fancy work on the more intricate goods. It was something he could see himself doing for the rest of his life.
Information about T'ryn's pets
Pet Name: Pouncer
Pet Type: Bronze Firelizard
Appearance: Pouncer here is a fine handsome fellow, no doubt about it. His shiny bronze hide holds just a tinge of copper. Slightly darker strips of bronze run horizontally across much of his body, giving him a striped appearance.
Personality: There are stately, dignified bronzes and there are intelligent, commanding bronzes. Sadly, Pouncer is neither of the above. As a matter of fact, he’s about as silly and flighty as a bronze could be. A new idea will pop into his head and he’ll barge straight ahead with it, no matter how outrageous that idea may be. And trust me, he’ll be getting plenty of new ideas.
Information about T'ryn's dragon
Dragon Name: Myholth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury
Appearance: I am not fat, I am just fine, thank you! Myholth is a chubby, medium sized bronze, with slightly longer than usual wings. This makes his chubby body look more bulky than he already is, and its something that displeases him greatly. His hide is an even, reddish bronze color all over, with no other shadings of any sort. He will always be impeccably clean and well oiled, and avoid anything that might get him dirty.
Personality: Myholth is charming, smart, and above all else, manipulative. Oh, he could simply order you to do something, but why cause the resentment and the trouble that could follow? A well timed compliment and a kindly prompted suggestion would serve so much better. And when it turns out he was right after all, it makes it that much easier the next time around. He could be a great leader, absolutely, if he had the inclination to do so. He knows he's smart, smarter than everyone around him, but when push comes to shove, this fellow would actually prefer to be the one pulling the strings from behind the throne, so to speak, rather than being the one on it.
