T'rikCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Standing at 6'6" and built like a brick wall, he looks rather intimidating. At least until one looks into his large, soulful brown eyes and notices that they are kind eyes. His hair is cut short and is an ordinary shade of brown. His nose looks like it's been broken at least once and not set right. He has a square jaw that is covered by a thick but well-maintained beard. Though his riding leathers are well-maintained, he's the kind of guy who wears his normal clothes until he can't possibly get any more use out of them if he can get away with it. Personality: Despite his somewhat brutish demeanor, T'rik is a gentle giant at heart. He's surprisingly soft-spoken, though he's not shy. He'll talk to anyone, but he prefers to listen more. He's generous, often to a fault. Give him your hard-luck stories and he will give you the shirt off his back. He's a relatively simple soul, and an honest man, and he's learning through bitter experience that the world is not made up of equally generous people. It's relatively easy to get him to give you his heart, but betrayal of trust hits him hard, mostly because he never expects it. He's not generally prone to anger, but he will absolutely fight when it's necessary . History: T'rik--born Tomrik--grew up in a small cothold near Lemos. He had loving parents, who were disappointed they couldn't have more children. When Tomrik was quite young, they took in Yarrow, who was his cousin by blood, and the two became inseparable, delighting in childhood mischief and pranks. Yarrow was convinced she could do anything Tomrik could, and was always stubborn enough to try. Even as a kid, he was big, though, so he had to quickly learn to reign in his own strength lest he accidentally hurt someone. Information about T'rik's pets Pet Name: Fang Pet Type: Canine Appearance: Fang will grow into a large canine of rather uncertain breeding. He is mostly black in color, with a long tail that seems to be constantly in motion. Personality: Fang is not nearly as fierce as his name might suggest. He's a big, dumb, playful mutt with boundless energy and lots of enthusiasm, which may or may not always be appreciated. Information about T'rik's dragon Dragon Name: Celedth Colour: Brown Age: 12 Wing (Weyrling Group): Skystrikers Appearance: Though there is no correlation between the rider's height and the dragon's size, Celedth is large for a brown. He is a rich caramel color, though the brown darkens a bit across his wings. He is sturdily built, and can also look rather imposing when he tries. He's been flying Threadfall for a bit over a decade, so he's been scored several times. His body holds the marks of old Fall injuries, though he remains as steady and reliable a dragon as he was in his Weyrlinghood. Personality: Celedth, like his rider, is stalwart. He never shirks from work and responsibility, and is less likely to approve of other dragons (and their riders) goofing off when they shouldn't be. He has a tendency to make predictions, often of events that would probably happen logically, in a solemn and serious manner. Whether his predictions come true, he neither knows nor cares. He's fond of the chase, and likes to try and catch the pretty greens when they fly. He has a special brotherly fondness for Weksanth, putting up with eccentricities from her that he wouldn't from other greens. That all being said, Celedth certainly isn't without humor. It tends to be rather dry, and when it's appropriate he can be coaxed into a game if the situation warrants it. Weyr of Origin: Benden Abilites and weaknesses: Celedth is too large to be especially agile. But he has strong stamina and doesn't tire easily. He's a typical brown in that he's definitely a workhorse, and so is not very good at thinking on the wing, as it were.
