T'masName Pronounced: T-mas Appearance: White blond hair frames his thin face. He has pale blue eyes lined with dark black, stubby eyelashes. His high cut features are evenly tanned, making the freckles that dot his nose barely noticeable. He is of slim but well toned build and the work of being a rider has put some muscle on his frame. Personality: T'mas is a calm, rational young man who rarely loses his cool under stress. His early training as a healer and the constant teasing he endured as a child taught him to remain calm and controlled. That trait serves him well with some of the chaotic escapades at Arolos. History: Born to a weaver and a healer at Pyan hold, Tomas was the youngest of six children. Being the youngest, he was often teased. He spent most of his childhood striving to be accepted by his four older brothers. It wasn't until his only sister left for Arolos that he realized he was worshiping the wrong people. His 17, 18, and two 20 turn old brothers were still rather cruel to him. Or that's the way he saw it. Everyday he begged his mother and father to send him off. He could be fostered off for all he cared. Eventually he ended up following his sister to Arolos. While he held a growing fascination with becoming a guard, inspired by his daring rescue of a small puppy being kicked most brutally in the side, his small stature and lack of muscle convinced him to take another path. After running wild for a few weeks, he eventually decided to try his luck on the hatching sands. Information about T'mas's pets Pet Name: Molli Pet Type: Canine Appearance: Molli, though male and completely undeserving of that name, is a perfectly ordinary looking black dog. Or he would be if his ribs didn't have some rather odd looking lumps in them from being broken. Still, that doesn't really matter. Molli has managed to grow to an amazing mid-calf height on his master. His black fur is short, and he's rather...stout. He's not a very pretty dog though. Personality: Molli is the type of dog that looks as if he'll run away at the first sign of danger. As it turns out, he is. He doesn't have the spunk one comes to expect of large dogs. Of course, he is completely loyal to his master, and that more then makes up for such a fault as cowardice. Molli has learned to trust the beastcrafters who tend to him, but will only take to newcomers if introduced to them by T'mas. Information about T'mas's dragon Dragon Name: Hermeeth Colour: Brown Age: 8 Wing (Weyrling Group): Firedance Appearance: Hermeeth will never be one the biggest browns out there and once you consider his short legged slender build you could almost call him petite. He will never have the strength to chase a gold, and while he can last a whole fall he'll need a good long nap afterwards. His build does give him a good deal of aerial agility for his colour, and he'll be an awesome fighter. He just doesn't have the stamina of his larger brothers. Personality: Now Hermeeth is a clever dragon, even for a brown but he has a bad habit of getting bored. And when he gets bored he'll insist on a change of topic, and if his demands aren't met he'll wander off if possible or simply daydream about something different. He'll need constant reminders to stay on focus when its something he has no interest in, and he'll tend to get sulky and complain if he's forced to do something that he doesn't like. He also tends to be a bit pessimistic, and he'll happily tell his rider about the downsides to any plan or situation. On the downside he can be a bit of a, well downer. On the upside he's always prepared for the worst and as a result will rarely get surprised by anything bad. Weyr of Origin: Abilites and weaknesses: Due to a wound from a ballista type weapon at Fort during the rescue he has a pronounced limp when on the ground. With that in mind both he and his rider have worked on his aerial maneuverability to compensate. He is extremely nimble in the air at fighting thread or chasing greens.
