T'eko Name Pronounced: TEH-koh Appearance: T'eko is 5'10", has black hair, slightly tanned skin, and green eyes. His eyes are slightly almond-shaped, and are usually gleaming with humor or mischief. His fingers are long and nimble, which is useful for either cleaning small places or scraping a bloodfish off of a dolphin. He has long legs, which are good for running; this makes sense when you consider his jokester traits. T'eko keeps his hair short and pulled back into a small ponytail at the base of his skull. Personality: T'eko is playful, easy going, and humorus. He tries to make a joke out of everything, even things that jokes shouldn't be made out of. His humor has helped him get over his parents' deaths, and has helped others deal with their problems. He is a hard worker, when push comes to shove, and he doesn't hurry with his work. When he was done, however, his favorite thing to do was listen to the local dolphin pod talk to him about pretty much everything. He swam with the pod as often as he can, and had his mood bolstered by it. Now he tends to his Brocarth in whatever spare time he has. History: Tamaeko was born in Telgar Weyr on 7.248.9.12. He and his parents moved to Arolos Weyr because they wanted to have the experience of living in more than one Weyr. On Tamaeko's first Nameday after moving into the Weyr, his parents gave him a firelizard egg they had received from some of their friends. When it hatched, he Impressed his blue flit Ryu. His parents, who where in their fifth decade, died from Everrash the next Turn, leaving Tamaeko to go on. One day while watching the dragons, the most suprising thing occurred. A blue dragon turned his head towards Tamaeko and said, {{You would make a good rider.}} Ever since that day, which was after the hatching that produced the Morningstar Marauders, Tamaeko helped out more than usual, just to see if that would somehow influence any unhatched dragons. Even though he didn't Impress any at Jenith's hatching, he didn't change his level of vigilance. When the Island Jewels hatched, he stood for that, but once again he was left standing alone. Afterwards, he decided to give up on dragons. If one wanted him, it knew where to find him. He was trying to hook up with Linneruel when the plague struck, taking the young man with it. Tamaeko bought a green wher, Tamask, at a Gather, and was discovering just how interesting raising a wher could be when disaster struck yet again. He and the wher were walking by the jungle when she bolted into the trees. When she was found, her body had been mangled by some wild animal. Tamaeko bought another firelizard egg at a Gather after that, and it hatched into his green flit Linnie, whom he named after his late boyfriend. Information about T'eko's pets Pet Name: Ryu Pet Type: blue firelizard Appearance: Ryu is rather large for a fire-lizard. His hide is a deep Prussian blue, which glimmers in the sun. Personality: Ryu is very playful, and very loyal. He enjoys helping his human play jokes, and doesn't mind being the butt of them, as long as others are happy, no one is hurt, and it isn't cruel. Second Pet Name: Linnie Pet Type: Green Firelizard Appearance: Linnie has a dark, forrest green hide that can blend into shadows. She is small for a green flit, which suits her personality perfectly. Personality: Linnie is extremely shy. She doesn't like being around people unless Tamaeko tells her to. If forced to be social with people, she will stay firmly on T'eko's shoulder. Third Pet Name: Note Pet Type: Blue Wher Appearance: Note has to have stolen his hide from his egg, or maybe it was his egg that stole from him. Either way he looks almost exactly like his egg. His hide appears to be a purely harper blue in shading with blotches here and there of a slightly lighter or darker shade that seem to be various instruments that are used and made by harpers. Other blotches could possibly be written notes for music. His actual body sets him on the smaller side for blues meaning, if he potentially wanted, he would be harder to find or could hide easier than some, not that he cares, but there is the chance for it if his pet ever wanted to try and use it. Personality: From early on it will be clear that Note will be one with a heightened sense of hearing. It isn’t a large thing, but it is noticeable when he starts hearing people coming before his pet or reacting to a conversation that seems a bit to far away for even a wher to hear. It isn’t just his physical hearing either. Anyone he knows well, especially if they are close to his pet, he is quite willing to listen in on them mentally sometimes without being asked. That doesn’t mean he’ll take to them, just that he will listen and let his pet know what is happening. Information about T'eko's dragon Dragon Name: Brocarth Colour: Brown Age: 11 Wing (Weyrling Group): Firedance Appearance: There are no distinctive features setting Brocarth apart from other browns. He must waddle around when earthbound since he's somewhat chubby, but not enough to make him noticeable. Between his simple coloration and medium size there's nothing special about him. In fact everything about him save for his head appears average. The headknobs are short but broad, seeming almost out of place on his otherwise bland stature. Personality: Almost always Brocarth can be such a sweet brown. He wants friendship and he wants respect but often finds it hard earning such from others. Try as he might he can't entirely overcome his clumsiness. There will always be some word misplaced or some turn he should've taken differently. What's worse everything he does wrong are tasks which're easy for others. It makes Brocarth feel he must better himself so he won't appear foolish at least beside his clutchmates. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: He has a good amount of stamina for a brown his size. He'll also take to *between*ing like he was born doing it. However, Brocarth is very klutzy, case in point his first glide. The brown jumped off the cliff without opening his wings, almost causing disaster.
