R'ysCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: R'ys stands 5 foot-9 with wiry features not prominent, or striking since there's no substantial musculature visible. Muscles are present underneath his peach-toned skin making it firm and his torso's sculpted from the slight broadness of his shoulders on through the flat abdomen. That overall leanness carried over onto his face where smooth features are left bare. Being no longer than several inches made the bronze-brown mop atop his head too short to even reach the hazel eyes which're peering outward as bright, expressive pools. His hair's shine, plus everything else, leaves a cheeriness radiating from his entire being and seems not meant those frowns he'd direct toward the early birds whom cross his path. For clothing he doesn't care about specific patterns, or whether he forgot about tucking his shirt in, but unless he's wearing his riding outfit, he never wears the exact same clothes twice in a row. It almost seems vain... Personality: There are dreamers out there and R'ys numbers among them, preferring 'what if' games over a focus on what's real. Had those games interested Estasath too he would've been set but he must instead seek substitutes, in the form of lovers, making them continue it further. Not even wingpractice stops him from losing himself in daydreaming. Despite his poor performance there, the dangers in Threadfall are enough incentive that he focuses and past his lax exterior shines the true skill he'd kept hidden. Whenever he cares about some cause that seeming laziness'll always disappear as he springs into action so quick it's almost like some look-a-like must've taken his place. There are also morning people rising at dawn...those people earn an ire from R'ys that seem unusual for someone so enraptured in his dreams but it doesn't stop his jealousy. Because no matter what reason he wakes for he's never coherent before noontime. History: A Weyr inspires some sense of duty? For someone born at High Reaches Weyr nothing obvious rubbed off onto Rueys and what should've seemed true can't be found in regards toward him. His parents rode lower colors, that alone made the boy less important so his childhood was spent dreaming, or daydreaming, since everyone else would busy themselves befriending the ranker children. The crecheworkers too could overlook him and not notice for sometime that his eyes'd glaze over during the lesson, so, once he left the creche, there wasn't more than various dreams in his head. None caught his attention enough he could settle on them. Since it'd became habit to not work on a problem he instead followed the weyrborn crowd into Candidacy, then continued living their dream when he Impressed Estasath several Turns later. Information about R'ys's pets Pet Name: Pipen Pet Type: Green Firelizard Appearance: “Are you sure she is a hatchling?” and “Is she ok?” might be questions her pet wants to get very used to answering very quickly. While this green girl might be the size of a hatchling when she spills from her furball of an egg it doesn’t entirely look like it left her behind. She is covered in an oddly coloured green hide that looks more like the hide of an aging dragon then a newly hatched firelizard. Or at least that same greyed out colour that a sickly dragonetic gets, but no matter how many times she may get looked over by dragonhealers she really is healthy she just has a naturally greyed hide all the time that is the shadows play on it right could almost be called fur rather then hide. Personality: This girl probably couldn’t /sit still/ if her life depended on it. She wasn’t to fly, spin, pounce, wrestle, chase, or just anything that even comes close to being /play/. She doesn’t care what it is she loves it and if it is something you expect her to grow out of: prepare to be disappointed. She will always be like some well playful puppy. Maybe her egg was perfect for her after all… Information about R'ys's dragon Dragon Name: Estasath Colour: Green Age: 4 Turns Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: (name pronounced es-TAY-zhath) Personality: Estasath loves the game 'pounce the male dragon' and bounces around in eagerness about whatever she can play unless it some word game that requires imagination. Some might assume her sudden shyness when someone suggests using her imagination comes from her lacking an imagination but in truth she can't make anything not real into sensible images or phrase. That keeps her from completing those task and knowing that she can't makes her several hate whatever involves imagining something, nor would anything convince her into embarrasing herself by trying it. Her imagination over something that doesn't need sharing {{works-just-fine-thank-you-very-much-so-quit-asking-for-more!}} to use her words on the subject. Weyr of Origin: High Reaches Abilites and weaknesses: From her size, her skill with acceleration and agile maneuvers won't surprise anyone and the same's true over her lack of stamina. What one can't tell from looking is that she can sense potential Candidate but she can neither put her imaginings into a form that'd make sense for anyone else.
