R'lianCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Small and wiry, R’lian almost reminds one of a feline, with all their grace and energy. He is almost constantly in motion, saying or doing something, and as such can be VERY animated. He has short, tousled dark brown hair and warm hazel eyes. His skin tone is fair, but tans to a sort of honey-brown color. Personality: R'lian is one of those people that simply cannot keep their mouth shut, even for the best of reasons. If he hears something, sooner or later, it will come out of his mouth, though it might not always be in the same context. And if/when he is corrected for it, he has a tendency to sulk, though not for long. He is always cheerful, though at times his attention wanders. He is also a veteran prankster, and asserts that most of the gray hairs on the Istan Weyrlingmaster’s head came from him. He tends to question everything around him, though it's more for the sake of finding out than any real insubordination. History: Ralian was originally born in Ista Weyr. He grew up in the crèche, never alone for even a moment, which possibly led to Ralian’s somewhat ebullient personality. He thought for a while that he’d make a good Harper, as he had a bit of a musical talent. However, he watched his First Impression at age 12, and from then on, all he could think about was getting a dragon of his own. As he was raised by the crèche, he doesn’t know who his parents are, or if he has any siblings. When Ralian was 13, he was finally allowed to Stand for Impression and- wonder of wonders- Mareeth chose him! By knocking him over and demanding to be fed, of course. Information about R'lian's pets Pet Name: Wildflit Pet Type: Green Firelizard Appearance: Wildflit is a dark green color. She is badly scarred from her contact with Thread. Personality: The flit is skittish. She will not allow anyone to handle her. However, she has warmed (slightly) to R'lian. Information about R'lian's dragon Dragon Name: Mareeth Colour: Green Age: 13 Wing (Weyrling Group): Thunder Flame Appearance: She is a pale jade-like green, with darker hints along her spine and wings. She is small for a green. However, she is still perfectly proportioned. Usually at least a day before she rises, she will darken considerably. Personality: Oddly enough, Mareeth is calm- for a green, at least. She tends to try and be friends with every dragon. She will also try to strike up conversations with others- draconic and human- than Hers. There's nothing she likes better than being fussed over. Weyr of Origin: Ista Abilites and weaknesses: Mareeth is fast, even for a green, and has a tendency to go between even without her rider's direction to get that *last* little bit of Thread. However, she can also overshoot her destination and sometimes have to turn about.
