PandulphName Pronounced: Pan-dull-ff Appearance: Pandulph is wiry. Most people claim that he's just "scrawny", and he does appear to be just that. At six feet even and weighing in at 145 pounds, it's hard to believe he could have any muscle. But watch him put in a day at the forge and you realize that appearances can be deceiving. Personality: Pandulph is always smiling. Because he knows that he is wonderful. His mother raised him to be immensely prideful, and he took it to heart. Not that he lets his ego run away with him. When working under a heavy-handed smith with forty years more experience, sense is quick to come to any youngling. Instead he has become comfortable with who he is. When teased by the other kids of his hold, he wasn't hiding behind a mask of smiles. The smile was real, because to his mind their teasing was petty, and could not affect him. History: Born into a small hold in the North, Pandulph quickly learned the cruelties of children because he had never known his father. If, like one of his younger cousins, this had been because of an accident, the teasing probably would not have come. Instead he faced the sins of his mother, who had enticed a traveling man into her bed, knowing she'd never see him again. In a hold the size of his, this behavior was the epitome of scandalous. And as their parents shunned his mother, so too did his peers shun him. But Anice held her head high, and taught her son to do so as well. Information about Pandulph's pets Pet Name: Gala Pet Type: Green Firelizard Appearance: Gala is a medium sized green, with no delicacy of form to her name. She's pretty enough but she's got a solid, compact look to her build. Personality: It's easy enough to tell that Gala loves her owner. Whenever possible, she's to be found curled over his shoulders. She's a bit jealous, given to warning away other females as they approach her pet. She's not, however, afraid to give him a warning nip, not enough to hurt him, when she thinks he's not doing as he should. Pandulph is a candidate. His colour preference is Brown, Blue, Green Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
