PagnolCharacter type: Trader Appearance: Pagnol is 6'1" tall with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. His face is strikingly handsome with a slightly upturned nose and full lips. He weighs about 165 lbs and is extremely fit and tanned. He wears rather plain clothes but they are always tailored to show off his physique. He is also fond of black boots and capes. He doesn't wear any jewelry but does have a collection of knifes and always has one strapped to his thigh. His favorite has a dragon carved into the handle with the tail etched along the thin and sharp blade. Personality: How a man like Pagnol comes to be is the real mystery. He is a true psychopath. His good looks and honeyed tongue have always deflected scrutiny from him, but can that last forever? He blames dragons and their riders for every problem on Pern and will do everything in his power to discredit and punish them. To the casual observer he is kind gentle and funny, with a sharp wit and casual charm that few can resist. This is how he lures his victims to their doom. History: His father was a strict diciplinarian,'spare the rod and spoil the child' was often quoted around his home. His mother was a good woman who loved all of her children. The families pets had a very short life span, no one could ever prove exactly what happened to them. Just that they either ran away or had 'accidents'. Pagnol was born touched by evil. There really was no signifivant event that you could point at and say, thee that's when he went bad, he just was. When he was 13 a dragonrider found him out in a field, torturing one of the family dogs/ He brought him and the dead animal back to the Hold and Pagnol was beaten severely and after he healed from the lashings he was sent to apprentice with his Father's younger brother who was a trader. His uncle kept a very tight leash on the boy and he seemed to grow out of whatever phase his parents thought he was in. But the truth of the matter is that he just got better at hiding his cruel nature. But his hatred of dragons and their riders was formed on that day and he vowed to avenge himself on all of THEM.
