NykieCharacter type: Other Appearance: Born: 9th Month, 8th Day Personality: Many hardships have helped to define her. She is strong in convictions, patient and caring. Her desire to be a mother has given her a unique insight into what makes children tick. She's as comfortable speaking with adults as she is cuddling with kids. Her faults are that she's too impulsive, too passionate and almost too easy going ... at least, that's what her husband said when he left her. History: Youngest sister to Holder Somni of Dollanol Hold, Nykie was handfasted at the age of 15-turns with Lord Telises of Tillek. Life was good until it was found she would never concieve a child. Normally it would be all right, but she found that Telises didn't love her, had only wanted a child. He severed their relationship when she was 19 and Nykie was crushed. Information about Nykie's pets Pet Name: Marrom Pet Type: Brown wher Appearance: So ugly, he's cute, Marrom is a light chocolate brown with flecks of dark brown upon the deformed wings and on his rump. Being from Callamere, he is smaller than the wild whers and Nykie is grateful. There is just enough of a distortion from a dragon that he doesn't upset her damaged mind. Personality: Marrom is at first shy, unless he senses tension from Nykie. He is fiercely loyal to her and constantly wonders why she doesn't open her mind to him. But he doesn't push it, knowing it was something very hurtful to her. He has adopted the candidate barracks as his territory as well as the new weyr he shares with the big bronze and Brownie (oh, the humans too). A curious wher, he's often seen rooting under candidates beds in search of things that were dropped. He knows every candidates name, even if they are shortened, which amazes Nykie, who didn't realize whers were quite so smart.
