Appearance: Neoshen is about five feet, eight inches tall, broad shouldered and well muscled. He has straight, shiny, jet black hair, kept somewhat long; it covers the tops of his ears and touches his shirt collar. His eyes are dark, chocolate brown, and his skin is dark tan. Neoshen is not incredibly attractive. Some might even go so far as to say that he is somewhat homely. He is the sort that fades into a crowd, that does not really stand out.

Personality: Neoshen is quiet, but he is not submissive. In most situations, he does not speak unless he is spoke to or if it is necessary for him to do so. He will definitely speak his mind in the case of disobedience, insubordination, or vital mistakes. He never calls another candidate out in front of others; rather, he takes them aside and talks to them about what they have done away from prying eyes. He is the sort that is concerned for everyone's wellbeing and wants them all to find a niche in the candidate or crafter classes. He is not quite a leader, but he is something of a shepherd. He does not constantly attempt to be the big boss, but he will attempt to guide if he believes one of his peers is going astray. Quite often, people do not appreciate this type of guidance, especially if they do not believe themselves to be incorrect. He is a very chivalrous boy, and as such he does not appreciate the idea of women riding fighting dragons, though he will generally keep his mouth shut in this regard as it does not appear to be the consensus opinion at Arolos. He is never rude or mean to women and is generally very upset if he catches others treating women poorly. He tends to have a bad temper in this regard and will sometimes lash out at people who would be better off left unlashed-out-at.

History: Born -2.11.11

Neoshen was the second child of four born to farmer parents at a small cothold in the Arolos protectorate and has always lived in the South. His family is a very traditional one and sees little outside influence as they spend most of their days keeping to themselves and doing their duty to their family and to their Lord Holder. Their only contact from the outside world was generally trader caravans and ever so seldom, they would make a trip to attend a Gather.

Neoshen grew up learning to tend to crops. He saw a dragon up close for the first time at ten turns when a girl from his cothold was searched to stand at Arolos Weyr. Neoshen never saw the girl again, but from then on, he was rather curious about the outside world. He entertained thoughts about apprenticing or perhaps joining the traders, but he never acted on those feelings.

In his eleventh turn, his father died of a sudden heart ailment. Though he wanted to leave the hold to see the world, he did not want to abandon his family. His older brother, Chero, changed very much after their father died. He tried to become a father figure to Neoshen and to their younger siblings, but Neoshen most of all resented him for it. He felt that Chero was trying to replace their father, though there was little that he could have done otherwise. In his fourteenth turn, his younger sister Shawnie left the hold to apprentice to the weavers, and this resparked his interest in finding a way to leave the hold.

When, in his fifteenth turn, another searchdragon visited his hold, he was the first out to greet him and hoped that he would be chosen. Neoshen was ecstatic when the rider actually handed him a search token and offered to take him back to the weyr. Though Chero was upset with him for leaving, he left anyway, and has been standing for clutches at Arolos for the past turn and a half.

During the latter sevendays of his Candidacy, Neoshen became involved romantically with a girl named Jak. At first, it seemed that she was only interested in Neoshen physically, but soon enough, the two of them actually started to fall in love. It came as a bit of a shock when both of them Impressed from the same clutch and suddenly found themselves unable to touch or see one another outside of class for ten whole months.

Still, their relationship lasted despite Jak's Pyxith being caught several times by dragons who were not Truenoth. Though this was a bit of a blow to N'shen's holder sensibilities and to Truenoth's pride, he refused to part with Jak for something that was not her fault. He stayed with her over the Turns.

In his 22nd Turn, N'shen became the father of a baby boy. Following his family's somewhat unusual tradition of giving children new names instead of using pieces of the parents' names, he named the boy Gebrand.

Not long after Gebrand was born, N'shen lost his weyrmate. He grieved deeply for a long time, affected heavily by her loss.

In his 24th Turn, N'shen took it upon himself to mentor Cotai, a wingmate formerly of Fort. Over the next five Turns, Truenoth regularly caught Wyelloth, and the two went from colleagues to lovers when during a flight, N'shen's attachment to Cotai and his jealousy of Cotai's hanger-on of a weyrmate finally overcame his sense of propriety in maintaining a professional relationship.

Appearance: This glorious bronze stands commandingly, his
burnished mahogany-bronze hide glistening in the sun and even when he dries off he'll still sport a very shiny hide. Oiling this bronze will only make
him more shiny, and even dirt will have a hard time keeping his sheen dull.

Personality: Ferocious in appearance, Truenoth is amazingly very likable. He's a natural protector of his fellow dragons and he'll be ready to help protect any of them, from any thing at all. He's a take charge, commanding bronze and he'll want to run the entire show. If there is any task calling for a leader it is him. He'll not only volunteer he'll insist that he's the one that takes the risks first. Will he get his way all the time? Absolutely not and does that bother him? He'll resignedly step aside and allow others to have their way with little fuss, but he'll insist on keeping a close eye on things just in case he is needed to help out.

Give Truenoth a just cause and he'll be fierce in defending that cause. Thread will become a welcomed opponent, one he looks forward to fighting. This bronze will be an amazing threadfighting machine, taking to his duties
like no other. He'll force his rider to drill harder, longer, even alone in practice. His first taste of firestone will have him happy for days on end and he'll insist that he practices every single day without fail. A day without the taste of firestone in his maw is an unhappy day indeed.

Truenoth will need a strong lifemate, one that will be able to handle his forceful personality. He'll expect great things from his life partner and won't settle for being disappointed. He'll lack a bit of sympathy, but that's the price he'll pay for his protective, commanding personality.
