MelianaCharacter type: Candidate Appearance: Meliana is one of those girls who looks perpetually young - she stands just short of 5'2", with smallish breasts and only the gentlest of curves to her slim hips. With burnished gold locks tumbling in thick waves around her heart-shaped face and into her bright blue eyes, and a smile forever on those full, pouty lips, she's actually quite attractive...once you get past how young she appears, that is. Personality: Generally positive and outgoing, Meliana is just a little bit impulsive. She's also very talkative, and willing to share all the stories she's collected of her exploits over the years - but she's also learned when it's time to listen. Other people can be just as interesting as herself, after all. The hardest part was learning when, exactly, she should keep her own mouth shut - but she's gotten better at just being quiet, sometimes. History: Meliana's mother was the wife of a Holder, and she was just one amongst many children - which made her strive to stand out. Being pretty much ignored by one's parents tends to make one a little self-assertive... and so, she was, talking with aaaalll the journeymen who'd pay attention to her on their way through the Hold, and learning all the skills she could. In fact, she was planning on apprenticing into Glasscrafting, but something happened. Information about Meliana's pets Pet Name: Comet Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: Meliana's blue flit is small, to be sure - even full-grown, he's still one of the tiniest blue flits one has ever seen. He's also very interestingly colored...the tip of his nose is a deep, midnight shade, fading to a pale sky tone at the end of his tail, which is a little longer than average. Personality: Comet is brash and daring, despite his small stature - he wants to chase every little green flit that rises in the air, wants to explore the whole Weyr, wants to see everything - ! Meliana is a candidate. Her colour preference is Gold, Green Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
