MeleiaName Pronounced: May Lee ah Appearance: Mel is of medium height with a slender figure. She prefers wearing breeches to skirts and is very much a tomboy. She usually has her shoulder-length hair pulled up into a runner tail to keep it out of her face while working. To her dismay, the intense steel grey eyes framed by ink black hair, tanned skin and full lips draw the eye; because of this she dresses down, hiding the curves of her figure. Personality: Mel can be a lot of fun but has a sense of responsibility that keeps her from getting into too much trouble. She loves playing pranks on her friends, and usually avoids actions she thinks may hurt others. She is very social and enjoys doing things with a group although she also enjoys alone time. She enjoys pretty clothes, and to her mothers dismay owns one dress..she doesn't care for all the bother that comes with the female part of the equation. Honest and loyal she dislikes people who take advantage of those who are weaker than they are. All in all she is a good person with a warm heart and hopes to one day ride a dragon of her own. History: After her parents passed away of an unknown fever, Mel, who was only 3, was taken in by friends of her mother. As she grew up she proved to be bright and curious, her love of critters causing her to end up bringing injured and orphaned animals home on a regular basis. She always enjoyed hanging around the Runners, learning everything her guardians could teach her and planning to eventually own her own cothold where she could raise them as well. As soon as she was old enough she began to help with daily chores, eventually moving up and by 16 helping in all areas of the ranch. She began providing her own thoughts on how they could improve the lines they were breeding. At 16, she was gifted with a solid black Stud who was the first result of the breeding program she helped design. Meleia is a candidate. Her colour preference is Gold, Green Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
