M'lynName Pronounced: Muh-lin Appearance: At first glance, M’lyn is nothing special to look at. Oh, he’s not too terrible rough on the eyes, with his sandy brown hair, warm chocolate eyes, and mostly symmetric features, but he’s nothing to write home about either. Forgettable was the word, up until the point where he smiles. M’lyn has a smile that could light up a room and make his ordinary face into something extraordinary. And he smile often, with the fervor of a man who truly loved life in all of its infinite variations. Personality: M’lyn is a man who truly enjoys life and he approaches every bit of it with vivacity and intensity. A happy man, a contented man - he can find joy in almost any situation. That’s not to say that he’s overly optimistic or naive in his expectations. Far from it. He knows that bad things will happen sometimes, but he also knows that even the worst situations can be remedied or made anew. Perhaps the best word to describe him is hopeful. History: Maelyn was born the only son of a wealth smith. His mother died giving birth to him. His father, Maecon, was a busy man. Even though he doted upon his only child, he was more absent from Maelyn’s childhood than not. Growing up, Maelyn was given everything a child could possibly want, except a parent’s firm, guiding hand. Unsuprisingly, he grew to be quite the spoiled brat. The spoiled brat matured into a reckless, rebellious teenager. Information about M'lyn's pets Pet Name: Gallant Pet Type: Bronze Wher Appearance: Egg on Fire (bronze)- Though the base of this egg’s shell is orange, it’s hard to see from the flame-colored veneer that covers it. A swirl of red and yellow mixes with the undercoat of orange to create a warm blaze effect across the surface. The egg itself is quite large, leaving little doubt as to the contents. Though what’s for sure in there won’t be known until hatching day, Ziya is obviously quite proud of it. Personality: The little bronze will be true to his color. Fiesty, stubborn, tempermental, and very showoffish, the bronze will do everything in his power to be the best he can and better than anyone else who comes his way. He won’t recognize species limits, thinking that if a dragon can fly or breathe fire, than so can he. Of course, he can do neither and will be hard-pressed to actually come across firestone, but should he try either he’ll fail. That will only make him more irritated and grumpy. Training will be very rough with him but with persistence and dedication, it can be done. Once he’s trained, he’ll be a fantastic guardian, highly loyal to his handler and anyone his handler deems family. Information about M'lyn's dragon Dragon Name: Adyth Colour: Brown Age: 22 Wing (Weyrling Group): CandidateMasters Appearance: Just like his rider, Adyth is fairly average when it came to outward appearance - average size, average build, and average wingspan. His hide is a light, sandy brown color - almost the exact same shade as M’lyn’s hair - with darker brown mottles across his chest and belly. He bears quite a few scars from thread scores, the most prominent of which is a pale line that runs down his left shoulder. Personality: Adyth is a dragon of action, not one to sit still if there’s something concrete to be done. Flying, flaming, chasing - he does it all with great energy and verve. Anything he begins, he’s determined to see to the end. Once he’s decided on a particular course of action, it’ll be like corralling wherries to get him to change his mind. This might not be such a bad thing, if he puts a bit of thought into choosing his actions in the first place. Sadly, he doesn’t often and disaster, more often than not, ensues. That’s not to say that he’s silly or flighty. He’s simply very, very enthusiastic. Weyr of Origin: Telgar Abilites and weaknesses: Adyth is a talented flier, due in part to his propensity to throw himself enthusiastically into everything and anything he might attempt. However, this propensity also comes with a tendency to get himself into situations that he can’t handle.
