Name Pronounced: Lee-uh-sin
Appearance: At 6'0" Lyasine is taller than average by far, especially for her age. Light brown hair flows down to the middle of her back, though it is often kept pulled back neatly. Her left cheek is marred by a scar running up it from the corner of her mouth that stands out against her tanned skin and tugs her lip up to a nigh permanent smirk. Her honey-brown eyes always seem to be vibrant.
Personality: Notably, Lyasine's height makes her ungainly which leads to much frustration for her and a less than proper response to the teasing that came from it from the others. Lyasine is naturally inquisitive, always eager to learn something new, and would rather figure something out on her own than ask for help. She does not take well to being second best, and even when she is outdone she'll push herself even if it truly is beyond her, which has landed her in precarious situations. Despite being a dolphincraft apprentice she seems to have developed a fear of the water where once she was at home in it. The few friends she does let get close find a steadfast and loyal companion. Unfortunately for Lyasine, she's often found to be abrasive as she's not always the most tactful.
History: Lyasine was practically born to the water. Even as a young child she was fascinated by its call and always asked about the life within, especially the dolphins. It is no surprise that when she came of age she sought to be a dolphineer. Unfortunately it all changed a year into her apprenticeship. While out for a fitness swim, Lyasine pushed herself further than she should have. Her weariness mixed with stubborn refusal to call for help quickly found her in trouble when she got caught in an undertow that pulled her under and raked her across the rocky bottom. Though she healed, the deep cut to her right cheek, now a distinct scar, stands as a reminder along with the now permanent smirk the scar causes. Ever since, Lyasine has had a fear of the water. Though she longs for it, every time she starts to get back in the water fear wells up and she can't bring herself to press forward. Though it's been suggested that she might want to seek another craft, Lyasine can't bring herself to give up, and so she does what she can outside of the water and has strove to ensure that she remains knowledgeable enough to be of use still.
Information about Lyasine's dragon
Dragon Name: Faladath
Wing (Weyrling Group): DreamKeepers
Personality: When Faladath steps out of her egg, the first thing that happens is that she begins giving advice to the rest of the hatchlings, be they bronze, brown, blue, or green like herself. She'll start this trend by telling them who they should Impress (and the funny thing is, she's right about 80% of the time.) When she Impresses, she'll try to find the most timid and unprepossessing Candidate about, so she can help them grow. She's just that kind of dragon.
Weyr of Origin: Arolos
