Name Pronounced: HEY-gen (soft g)
Appearance: Haygen grew up into an almost exact image of his father when he was younger, and anyone who knew H’yu would agree that he's a handsome devil. He keeps his dark fairly short, unable to stand it when it gets any longer than his ears. His eyes are a slightly darker shade of hazel than H’yu’s were, but still with that same soulful expressiveness. He never had any luck growing nice facial hair, so he keeps clean shaven. As predicted he never grew very tall, only 5’8, but at least he tries to keep himself fit. He tries to dress smartly, but has a tendency towards picking out very hideous items of clothing. He’s especially a big fan of ugly browns, greens and yellows. He walks with a limp and on days when his leg bothers him a lot he carries a simple wooden cane.
Personality: Haygen is a much different person than when he left Fort. He is still a sombre guy that finds a hard time trusting people, but he carries an air of quiet peacefulness that has a soothing quality. He is soft-spoken, not given to being overly excited or rambunctious about much. His default mood seems to be a strange mixture of sad and content. Its obvious he’s been through a lot, but also that he’s come to terms with it and just wants to be happy with the life he has now.
History: Originally born in Ista Weyr, Haygen left after the death of his mother to follow his father to Fort Weyr when he was ten. H’yu had left earlier in his life to take up the open WLM position at the more strict Weyr and though Haygen hated it at first, he adjusted and started settling into life. The start of his twelfth turn was a wonderful one. For his birthday his father gifted him with a fire-lizard egg that yielded his little blue, Ship and then he finally moved into the barracks to Stand. He was sure to impress; he came from a long line of dragon riders after all!
Information about Haygen's dragon
Dragon Name: Jonmath
Wing (Weyrling Group): Tiny Travellers
Personality: Jonmath is a dragon who keeps normal wrapped around him like a cloak. His colour is a uniform dull blue, and not particularly exciting any way you look at it. He's not an extraordinary flier, an extraordinary flamer or an extraordinary flame. He's average, a dragon who would happily slip into the background and let the world pass him by. He is not extraordinary.
