FairenName Pronounced: Fair-en Appearance: Fairen has copper-red locks that are cropped short, bangs brushing her arched eyebrows. She's pale, and will likely burn if she stays out in the sun too long - the peeling skin on her shoulders and the spattering of freckles across her face are testament to that. Her eyes are a pale green color, staring out from that oval face and above a chin that's set a little too strongly to be necessarily attractive for a girl. She also has a little bit of an overbite, though she hides it quite well, and her teeth are nice and even, to make up for it. There's muscle to her frame, erasing any frailty she might've had if she'd been raised 'soft', and keeping whatever feminine curves she had potential for slight. Personality: Fairen possesses a quiet confidence in the way she moves, coupled with a fierce determination when it comes to any task she puts her mind to. She refuses to fail, even if it means offering up some part of herself in cruel sacrifice. She's slightly cynical, and wary of those she thinks might be trying to take advantage of herself and her friends. As such, she doesn't necessarily make friends easily, though the friends she does make are most definitely friends for life, and she's almost painfully loyal to those chosen, special few. History: Daughter of Beastbreeder Dalren at Forest Edge Hold, Fairen was a member of a large family - the only girl with a lot of older brothers (and a couple younger ones). As such, she had a very rough-and-tumble childhood, always brawling and squabbling with her brothers, playing tag with them in the fields and hide-and-seek in the forest. Sure, her mother tried to coddle her only daughter, to make her prim and proper, but Fairen would have none of it. Her father silently agreed with the young girl's choice - by the time she was six, she was helping him work the runners, and most of her older brothers were too busy chasing skirts to be of any help to their Da' - and the ones that weren't lacked the focus and drive that Fairen brought to the fields. Information about Fairen's pets Pet Name: Spark Pet Type: Runner Appearance: Spark is a leggy little runnerbeast, looking almost klutzy in his young age. His coat is an off-white color, the shade of cream, and his tail and mane have only a few black hairs in them. His muzzle has a black shadow over it, as do his hooves. Personality: Bouncy. So far, that's the only word Fairen uses to describe her colt, and with all his enthusiastic energy, it's certainly an apt description. So far, he's not really shy or unruly, though he does tend to buck when the training saddle is put on his back - but she's working on breaking him of that. Information about Fairen's dragon Dragon Name: Unkamath Colour: Blue Age: 5 Turns Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: From hatching to maturity, this tall fellow will always be on the lean side. Never enough to worry about, but just enough for the dragonhealers to give him a second going over to make sure. Although he will have the height and length of his smallest brown clutch mates the muscle northe stamina will be there. The agility he will be able to exhibit on the other hand will be something to behold with awe. His color will not help him with the healers either, only the sheen to his beautiful faded denim blue hide will clue his rider and the healers to his health. This color will seem to fade to a much paler off blue on his underside. Personality: Quiet, supportive and loving, Unkamath is the epitome of what every dragon fulfills in their human partner. When his rider or siblings (later his wingmates) does something that upsets him, he will quietly shake his head and head off for the nearest flower bed to quietly recompose himself. When asked what has upset him he will calmly state the problem, without placing the blame on anyone's shoulders. Some may think him mentally slow, as when asked a question, even such a simple question like, 'How are you feeling?' he will be slow in answering. However, once he does answer, others will realize that the slowness was due to the fact he is not willing to give anything but a well and thoroughly thought out answer. So his chosen will know, if he comes back with a quick answer it is time to see what the blue is hiding and check him over from muzzle to tail tip. As he passes his prime, his rider will want to keep an eye on his great hearts, not letting him over work to far past his endurance. In his advanced turns those hearts will tend to give his rider and the healers a scare. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Though seeming large for his size, Unkamath's muscle mass isn't necessarily up to par, and flying a whole Fall will likely tax his reserves. This doesn't mean he can't do it - it'll just be hard for him.
