F'ryanCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Curly brown hair, cropped as neatly as he can get his hair to be. Hazel eyes that are narrow, but not small, and prone to being muddy-green than anything else. A wide, sturdy set to his shoulders - and the rest of his build at that - as well as a strong jaw give him a no-nonsense appearance; his nose is a little too wide from direct front view, and a little too pointed from a side view of his profile. Thin lips, most often unconsciously set at a neutral line, neither smiling nor frowning, add to the serious air of his features - but when he smiles, it's all good. Average height, at around 5'11"; he has a few scars, but the most prominent one is on his left arm - the entire top of it, starting from the middle of his forearm and ending at his finger knuckles, is composed of patches of tanned skin and new skin. He's a little embarrassed of it, mostly because it's evidence of his foolishness, so he hides it with long sleeves and/or gloves. Personality: Quick, would be the word to describe him. Quick thoughts, quick movements, quick speech, quick wit, quick humor. Take that back, quicksilver humor. Everything about him is a little rapid, like he's trying to squeeze ten minutes worth of life into only five. Always gives off a feeling like he's got _something_ to occupy him, and, in most cases, he does, since he's also got an attention span of a six-turn-old. In life, and in relationships, too, with both men and women. F'ryan can never keep quiet for long, never sit still for long, ever since he was a kid; he's also got a curious streak, as well as a little lack of a thing called common sense. He has a tendency to forget the big picture, and only see the little details that concern him at the moment. It's how he lives - in moments, never really thinking about consequences, never really dredging up memories. Just...living, with a smart-ass grin on his face and a never-ending stream of witty observations. History: Birthing Day - 3rd Day of the 11th Month Information about F'ryan's pets Pet Name: Siran Pet Type: Green Callamere Flit Appearance: A deep shade of ivy-green, Siran is on the smaller side of the average scale. That doesn't stop her from being beautiful, of course - though she's not quite as beautiful as she thinks she is, and acts she is, the way in which she carries herself often convinces others that she is that beautiful. Formed with svelte lines, Siran looks as if one strong wind can send her tumbling head over heels, which suits her just fine, since it maes it easier for her to get others to dote on her. Personality: From the moment she hatched, it was evident that she is, and will forever be, the the Lady of the weyr. She bends F'ryan to her merest whims with a little croon, and restrains Craneth from his usual antics by hogging his attention with charming little antics. Spoiled rotten, Siran is also unused to creatures other than her two boys (who keep her very busy, indeed, since she has to keep an eye on both of them!), and can be rather timid at first meeting. Sooner or later, though, her charmingly manipulative nature will reassert itself, and she'll woo them into doing what she wishes them to do (no bossy ordering about for her, no siree, not when there are more pleasant ways). Information about F'ryan's dragon Dragon Name: Craneth Colour: Blue Age: 14 Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury Appearance: A clear, pure cerulean blue, for the most part. His hide turns suddenly into a more common blue partly down his legs, as if he is permanently wading and the difference in color is because of the water. Average in size, for a blue, neither particularly big, nor particularly small, neatly proportioned, with the exception of his wings. His wings are a little bit big for the rest of his body, but they're not big enough to get in the way. All in all, an average blue. Personality: Playful, often times to the detriment of other people. For instance, Craneth would find nothing wrong with leaping out from corners or swooping down from the air and scaring a whole bunch of people. He's the kind of dragon who thinks humans are funny creatures, almost considers them his toys, but in a fond sort of way - because they're so entertaining! He'll sneak right up behind a person, or, at least, snake his head behind them. Then, when they're least expecting it, he'll blow a puff of air strong enough to knock them over, and proceed to laugh himself silly. Basically, he thinks he's funny. No one else does. Craneth likes clowning around, and the only one that he doesn't victimize every once in a while is his rider, mostly because F'ryan is on guard against his blue for tricks like that! Energetic, almost hyper, the only time he's ever serious is when he chases a rising green - which is often, as this blue is something of a whore and chases any green that rises. Weyr of Origin: Igen Abilites and weaknesses: The size of his wings make him better at gliding, but that's about it. He likes leaping off high ledges and "parachuting" at the last minute, which his wings make very easy for him. He's quite skilled at diving, able to instinctively know how far he can fall before he needs to stop, a skill developed to its fullest through his pranks.
