DorrylCharacter type: Candidate Appearance: Lanky, all long limbs and awkward, unadjusted gait, Dorryl looks as if he's not yet done developing, though, for the most part, he has. He has dirty blonde hair that used to like to fall into his green eyes, until he cut it short to rid himself of the bother. His skin was naturally on the tanned side from birth, but turns of holing himself in the Archives have paled his complexion. With a pointed sort of nose, and rather flat features otherwise, Dorryl has the kind of face will always look like it belongs to a half-grown boy. He's also not that tall, though not horribly short, at 5'9" - all in all, a young man who looks younger than he actually is, and will probably look so for the majority of his life. Although he will eventually probably end up grateful for his youthful looks in the end, he's at a delicate stage of life that young men do get to, and it's a terrible burden, a curse. Personality: He used to be normal, but after beginning his apprenticeship, he became a little peculiar. Since he was raised in the Harper Hall, he knows the principles of diplomacy and such, but he's never had a chance to practice it before, and so takes it to extremes, being exquisitely polite at all times. Generally approachable, Dorryl tries not to be judgemental, but doesn't often succeed, utilizing first impressions far more than he probably should. In particular, he dislikes rude people, dirty people, and messy people, though he will never show such dislike publically; he himself tries very hard to be clean, as well as meticulously neat. It's a quirk of his, that his things have to be organized in a certain way, using a personal system, and he gets very nervous if other people touch his things. And even though Dorryl is perfectly all right with speaking to people, he doesn't like physical contact; it has to do with him being possessive. No one should touch his belongings without permission, including his own person. History: Birthing Day - 8th Day of the 2nd Month Dorryl is a candidate. His colour preference is Bronze, Brown Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
