DemauniName Pronounced: day-MAW-knee Appearance: Towering above the female members of his family at the height of six feet and two inches tall, Demauni easily matches the height of his father if not surpasses it by half an inch. However, the height is not something that does not look good on him either as his body has filled out very nicely to give him a rather balanced appearance over all. Living a life of good and honest work in his family's trading caravan obviously shows in his upper torso as his arms and shoulders are rather well muscled and very nicely in shape while not being overly muscled. If one's eyes were to travel further south down his body, they would find that his body slims down easily to hips that are slightly narrower than his shoulders. Even further south than that are a pair of strong legs that one can tell have seen more than their fair share of walking next to a wagon and seen their fair share of work. Personality: In some cases, looks may be deceiving. However, that is not the case for Demauni as he did not get that nice strong body that he has by just laying around and not lifting a finger to help with any types of physical work. Oh no, he is one that is definitely not opposed to physical labor. In fact, he tends to find hard work soothing and a bit relaxing. It is just something about all of the muscles in his body working together to accomplish something that makes him feel a little more relaxed and rather proud of himself once the work is done. He does not tolerate other trying to push their work off on him, however. Nor does tolerate others not pulling their own weight when it has an effect on him. If you slacking off one something, he does not ever care unless it effects anything that he has to do or he is the one that has to pick up the slack. Then it suddenly becomes an issue for him and you are going to find him right in your face about it. History: Born into his family's trader caravan known as the Pagayn Trading Caravan, which serviced the southern continent, Demauni was the only child born to his trader parents. There really is no reason as to why he was the only child born to the pair; his mother simply just never became pregnant again after she had him. Despite this, he never grew up without a playmate as his family was not the only one that was part of the Pagayn Trading Caravan. His was able to grow up with his cousin Saofin, who was only two turns younger than him. While he did have other children in the caravan to play with, it was Saofin that he was nearly inseparable from since she was old enough to walk. Perhaps it was because they were blood related, or perhaps it was because she was the only other child that was close to his age at the time? What ever the reason, the two grew up together with an interesting relationship to say the least. Demauni is a candidate. His colour preference is Brown, Blue, Green Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
