Name Pronounced: Day-dran
Appearance: Blonde hair, with a definate yellowish hue, is Deidran's defining characteristic- well, at least from afar. This is mostly due to the haristyle he wears it in, pulling half of it up at the back in a high runner's tail and leaving the rest to fall down well past his shoulders at the back. Usually, when wearing a jacket, he tucks the loose length into the collar, so one could be forgiven for thinking his hair quite short at first, as it appears to be like this. Diedran also likes to keep a lock of hair (a long side fringe) hanging over his left eye. Why? He probably just thinks it makes him look cool. Or mysterious...artists are supposed to look unique, right?
Personality: Deidran would be best described as outgoing, radical, and rather avante-garde. However, most of the time he adopts a calm and composed manner around others, his quirks surfacing when most unexpected, and often leaving a strong impression. Anyone who knows him will know he's truly eccentric, unique, and extremely opinionated when it comes to two things- Beauty and Art. To Deidran, both these loves of his equal one thing- explosions. Hence his affinity to the Chemistcraft. To him, beauty is not eternal, but instead fleeting, and he will ceaselessly defend this point. Art is a bang, a beautiful explosion, and anyone trying to convince Deidran otherwise will have one heated debate on their hands.
History: Deidran was born in Crom Hold, his father a Master of the Minercraft and his mother a Journeyman. His early childhood passed, until one day at the age of three turns, Deidran discovered mud. Wondrous mud, so clingy and easy to shape! Yet, most beautiful about this earthy substance, most appealing to young Deidran, was how easily it could be sculptured..and then destroyed! Yes, the young boy would delight in building a tower of mud, letting it dry in the sun, and then smashing it to smithereens. Perhaps this activity was a premonition of things to come, because this urge to create and then destroy in a fleeting, beautiful moment, stuck with him.
Information about Deidran (deceased)'s pets
Pet Name: Obi
Pet Type: Blue Firelizard
Appearance: Obi is an azure blue, with darker shading on his face. He's small for his colour, and larger greens may come very close to his size. His body is proportional and compact with muscle. However, a long scar stretches down the length of his body on one side. This was aquired a two turns after hatching, when his curiousity led him to get hit by a flying fragment from one of Deidran's explosions. Since then, Deidran is far more careful, and so is Obi.
Personality: Chirpy, skittish and cheery, this flit is friendly and likable. He's goofy and carefree, disliking negative atmosheres, and will always strive to lighten the mood.
Second Pet Name: Sori
Pet Type: Brown Firelizard
Appearance: Sori is a small brown, slim and lean with large wings and a rather long tail. For the most part his hide is an umber brown, but it merges into a burnt umber colour in two places: his headknobs, and a small, circular patch on his chest.
Personality: Sori is the acute opposite to Obi, and tends to irritate his pet far less often. He is stoic, composed, and quiet. Often he appears lazy, but his mentality behind this is simple: there is no need to do something if the thing is simply not worth doing. He takes the same approach to other flits, only taking the effort to converse with them if he feels them worthy. For this reason, his is usually avoided, and Obi favoured by other flits.
