De'conName Pronounced: Dee-Con Appearance: There is a comfortable broadness to De’con, something that is apparent the moment you set your eyes on him. Not overly bulky, nor extremely lean, De’con has the comfortable solidity of something who exercises regularly but still enjoys more than one decent meal a day, with wide, muscular shoulders tapering to a lean waist and long legs. Standing a shade under 6’6”, De’con is comparatively tall, but his confident posture with his shoulders thrown back and spine held straight projects his height all the more. De’con’s voice is a soft, rumbling drawl that is actually a reasonable singing voice. There’s a decidedly lilty quality to it that is pleasant on the ear, both in speech and in song. Personality: Laid back and then laid back some more. If he got any more relaxed, he would probably be lying down. De’con appears to have endless patience, but the reality is, he just picks his battles. He doesn’t see the point in needless fighting or arguing, he’d much rather save his energy and fight for something that really matters and when he does, well you’d best take cover, his fury is something to see indeed. It just happens so rarely that it’s easy to forget that he knows how to get angry at all. Unfortunately, he’s gotten angry before when there was a lot of alcohol involved and, not wanting to go down that familiar path again, De’con works very hard to keep that temper in check. History: Birthing Day: 9th day, 9th month. Information about De'con's dragon Dragon Name: Ourneth Colour: Bronze Age: 31 Wing (Weyrling Group): CloudDancers Appearance: Pr: OAR-Neth Personality: As laid back as his Rider, Ourneth is quite happy to let other people step in and settle any disputes. He’s a lover, not a fighter and would much prefer to croon his way into peoples’ (and dragons) hearts. He can step up if he really has to, but really would much rather someone else got involved. It just seems like too much trouble. This attitude can often be mistaken for laziness and Ourneth is anything but. He’ll throw himself into his drills and be determined to fly the absolute best that he can… he just doesn’t want to stand out and he most certainly doesn’t want to be in charge of anything. That seems like just too much work. He’s incredibly sweet-natured and will give just about anyone the benefit of the doubt which the more unscrupulous might try to take advantage of. Weyr of Origin: Igen Abilites and weaknesses: His stock strength makes him a perfect candidate when brute force is required and his sweet nature makes him diplomatic when talking to others. His stocky shape and extra muscle weight makes him less agile and will tire more quickly if trying to be more acrobatic.
