D'zynCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: D'zyn has thick pale blonde hair that falls in soft waves to just below his shoulders. He usually wears it loose, although on occasion will plait the shorter bits at the front, and either leave them down to frame his face or pulls them back and joins them together at the back. If he has to do alot of riding (example, threadfall) he’ll pull it all back into a plait which he tucks up inside his helmet. This, coupled with the sweat that forms on his scalp when he wears his helmet, means that when he takes it out of the plait it surrounds him like a cloud, with the light strands forming a sort of halo around him. Personality: D'zyn is a tad shy around new people, but people only tend to be considered ‘new’ for about 5 sentences. He’s reasonably good at first impressions – that is, his first impressions of people usually turn out to be right. Once he ‘knows’ you, he’s very friendly, almost puppy like in his eagerness to please, play and be friends. If he had a tail, it’d be constantly wagging. History: Davezyn, as he was born, was the second son and fourth child born to his parents – a journeywoman weaver and her partner, a journeyman smith. He grew up in Telgar Hold, spendiing most of his younger years running wild around the place with the other Hold children. He attended all his Harper classes punctiliously, and was considered reasonably bright, if not exceptional. He was also, despite his rather laid back, it’ll all work itself out in the end atittude, considered to be a rather well behaved, polite lad, who never seemed to be involved in any of the major mischief that the other lads got tangled up in. Information about D'zyn's pets Pet Name: Shadu Pet Type: Bronze Wher Appearance: Shadu is a bright glittery bronze. He is a dark bronze with glimmers of lighter metallic flecks across his hide. He is a small sized bronze and more rangy then solid, about the size of a large brown. If it weren’t for his clearly metallic hide, he could easily be confused for a brown. At the moment, he has a long legged look, something that only growth will change. Personality: Shadu is, at the moment, rather playful. While this playful side will lesson as he gets older, he will always keep some of his pup like nature. He is protective of D’zyn and would do anything that his ‘zyn asks. Unfortunately he does not take so well to D’zyn’s friends. He will tend to stay aloof from most, only the most patient will befriend him. Information about D'zyn's dragon Dragon Name: Charith Colour: Blue Age: 5 Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: Charith is a deep, almost royal blue, almost exactly matching his rider’s eyes, a fact in which he delights. His wingspan is longer than usual, which meant he spent a lot of time in weyrling training tripping over them, until he learned to hold them up instead of letting them trail on the ground. He’s quite tall at the shoulder, about the size of a small brown, and proportionately long. However, he’s very lightly built, almost lanky, with limbs that are slightly longer than they should be. his neck and tail are quite long too, although luckily his chest depth is decent, meaning that his stamina hasn’t suffered too much. He can see a fall all the way through, although he’ll be slightly more tired than the other dragons afterward. Personality: Charith is alot like his rider – naïve, guileless, and playful. He’ll flirt with greens, meaning every single compliment he gives them. He likes everyone and is more than happy to talk to absolutely everybody. He considers everything a game, and will therefore happily do anything asked. He’s bouncy, and not as inclined as other dragons to laze around in the sun all day, preferring to swim in the lake or glide around. Weyr of Origin: Telgar Abilites and weaknesses: HE's a little more tired at the end of a fall than the other dragons, but can see it through. His longer wingspan and lithe shape mean he is faster and more agile than most blues, but not as agile as the best greens.
