ArynCharacter type: Staff Appearance: Aryn is small in size, and almost too thin looking, something that no matter how regular her meals are, she will still look too thin. She often dresses in men's clothes, hiding what curves she has. She is often mistaken as being a boy, and doesn't tend to want to change any ones impression of her. Personality: Aryn is quite happy to stay in the shadows. It's not that she is afraid, rather that it is so much easier to steal from people if they don't see her. She is a rogue, ready to fight, cheat, steal or lie to get her own way. She doesn't have friends, rather people that are useful to her. At least that is what she tells herself. She has a harsh exterior, but she is far too vulnerable for her own good. She doesn't particularily like violence, but once pushed, will fight dirty, usually to protect herself or her assets. Her favourite weapons are daggers, and she is quite accurate throwing or fighting with them. To her, the most important thing is family, and she wants nothing more then vengance on the people who killed off her family in a disagreement. She still has nightmares about this night, more of which will be explained in her history. History: Aryn grew up a trader, travelling around with her parents and other relations. She was the only daughter of Trinan and Rilla, born after four sons. Information about Aryn's pets Pet Name: Skiffy Pet Type: Brown Firelizard Appearance: Skiffy is a pale pale brown flit, smaller then one would expect a brown to be, but in perfect proportion. Down his spine is a line of glossy looking hide- wait is that scales? no, of course not, flits don't have scales. Instead, it is just an odd patterning down his back that seems to shimmer in a wide variety of browns, from a reddish mahogany, glolden brown pine, klah dark and pale sand. The patterning of this strip seems much like that of an old terran python, not that anyone on Pern would know /that/ fact. Personality: Physical contact is reassuring to this rather timid flit. He is most comfortable in deep dark places, or on his pet. Or both, preferably. Second Pet Name: Gway Pet Type: Blue Wher Appearance: This youngster will grow to be medium sized, built with a grace and sleekness rarely seen in whers. Whers aren't supposed to be graceful, they're supposed to be bulky and clumsy in their hugeness, aren't they? This blue will defy that with his every move. He's actually fun to watch with his slow moving ways. That's not to say he can't run when he wants to, but he prefers to walk when in the sight of others, saving his running for when he's off on his own hunting. His hide is a lovely shade of steel blue and yet he will look faintly older because his muzzle is a few shades paler then the rest of him giving him almost a grizzled look. Personality: This blue will be shy and aloof, each at different times. It's hard to guess which mood will strike when so predicting him isn't easy. He will be very loving to his pet and only let others into his pack slowly and after a great deal of patience from all involved. Suspicious and weary sum him up to a tee and he'll never make the Weyr's most friendly wher list. Not that he'll be abusive in any way, he won't. He's just not overly nice like some whers tend to be when they're tamed. Third Pet Name: Stoppit Pet Type: Green Wher Appearance: At the first breaking of the shell, this wher is a bright spring green. It is over the first month or two however that her hide will darken considerably to a deeper darker pine green brindled by olive. Personality: This green is a friendly girl, happy to garner attention from anyone. She doesn't blatantly seek out attention however, but if you were going to give her a scratch around the eye ridges, she really won't mind.
